Honestly, if I'm going purely with Sotty7 interactions, Rask does come across the worst. There are so many things that look like they could both be partners while there are many other things pointing away from GM-Sotty7 as partners and Rask does keep force-fitting scumteams that just don't make sense. My townread on Rask is mostly from reading emotions - like the way he keeps insisting that I was doing the scum's job and that he wants to quote you at endgame and such. He also seems more emotionally invested than in any of the scumgames I've read of his. If he's scum here, he took his game to the next level.

That being said, I'm not normally one to make judgments based on stuff like this, so I'm not going to pay attention to it all that much.

An exceedingly quick look over Maria's iso makes me lean creature as the last scum tbh. For most of the game she was 'scumreading' BV, Creature, and myself, but it only really felt like she really wanted the creautre lynch until BV and I were off the table.

I'm still feeling comfortable townreading rask. I don't really buy that Maria would hard townread her two buddies to hell and back. If rask were her scumbuddy and ended up getting lynched before her, it would, well, not look good.

This is a revised version of my prior reads, heres want i think i want:

I want to lynch rask for many reasons, i personnaly hard sr her for a good 2 days, she also appealed me to lynch town and gm, which i think is scummy. Mariar also proved that she buddied sotty so she mightved buddied rask too, rask didnt want mariar until late in the day and i think it was just a strategic slight bus. I still believe that creature isnt with mariar for the whole day, the voting pattern would need paranoia for me to make them as mafia here, so again, it all points to rask/fitz. BV counted on me to lynch rask on lylo, the thing is, i wont survive to lylo and jack wont lynch her. I also think that jack kind tr creature (like i do from the flip) and would lynch fitz in the case that rask flip town, which all works out considering my reads that creat/mariar not a team, fitz/rask not a team and jack town. Also before anyone actually think i could be mafia here, i would just like to point out a few things:

- The purpose of the jaack kill is absolutely this, throw shade at me at a possible fake pr claim
- The meta game about 3 masons setups, like hoop said, was i think 50% 1 more pr (universal backup) and 50% no more pr. So by meta specs wise, my claim is not less or more believable than an universal backup and 1-shot bodyguard is a weak protective role
- Rask, hoop, BV and eventually jaack all accepted my claims and eventually townread me. If any of them had any issues with me for about the last 50 pages, they wouldve said something, they didnt, im town ty
- I am new to the forum mafia game, i dont know specs much. Like rask said, if it was a fake claim, i would need some sort of coaching and rask didnt believe that sotty couldve since she fosed hoop for coaching the possible fake claim, hoop was town. That leave mariar who could coach me, mariar has also not so much experience. So either i random nailed spec-wise a pr claim as inexperienced player on a setup where only 2 masons claimed, that makes it even more likely, or im just, you know, 1-shot bg.

I'm going to look through Cloud before placing my vote...but unless I see something very revealing implicating Cloud...I will be voting Creature. It seems like the common trend among EM players is that they know how to sound "genuine" and the short games help them practice that aspect of their play time and time again. On most forums (depending on how long deadlines are), players place varying degrees of emphasis on "analysis." That's probably why as you said, EM players are weak as town with analysis but have perfected the art of sounding natural as scum. Thanks to the mod for a fun game!

Overall enjoyed the game and most of the player list. Happy my reads came together day 2, and after Sotty's flip I had enough town reads, as listed in the mason thread, to win the game (jack, rask, creature, mason partners). As I said in the dead thread, the key to the game was not telling a 1 shot BG to save his shot for when there was only one mason left. Would have put cloud in an awkward situation.

Cloud was also kinda nakedly pursuing his wincon by forcing through a rask lynch d5 since that rask-creature mutual town block HAD to go via lynch or they'd be in f3 on him or he'd have to make an obvious motive shot to break them up.

To be honest, i went thought that going after rask gave me all the good possibilities.
1) it was towny to keep the same fos imo
2) if rask ended up not gettin lynched, i would have a really good reason to not be dead
3) i refused a gm, hoop and creature lynch in the process, i had to pro-town to get to rask

Also, Cloud claimed to have not used the shot on like D3 or so.

The masons were outed D1.

That alone should have been evidence Cloud was faking it--a real 1x bodyguard, post-mason claim, would have used the shot up immediately.
The reason Cloud didn't claim to have used up the shot is because Cloud needed to be "helpful"--he needed to be relevant. He needed to have his shot be available, so that his life held meaning. A bodyguard who has used up their shot(s) and is still alive is 'too convenient', and would be lynched...but the fact of the matter is, a real town bodyguard would have used their protection WELL before Cloud claimed to have.

I could be mistaken since I didn't read the full game, but I don't think anyone grilled him on this, so much as asking, "So...why do you still have that shot?"

I can understand the thought of not using an X-shot role on N1 if there is no information available. But not using it for TWO days, when there IS information available, was basically a scumclaim in of itself.

I read the dead thread and feel like i got trashed around quite a bit for no reason. I tried my best with the little experience i had, no reason to insult me or imply anything just because my claim wasnt optimal.

A lot of people dislike the "oh my god I'm so random you can't predict me so don't try" when it turns out you're scum. It's the sort of shit that works exactly once, because no one who plays with you here will ever let you get away with it again, and if that means mislynch so be it.

We will see, underestimated me there was the reason i didnt get lynched, not my good claim or that i was random
