I would like to jump in the queue with a Battlestar Galactica survivor. Just an idea atm but I figure I have a year or two to figure it out.

My game (BSG) will likely have 16 players and be a Big Brother/Survivor hybrid. It will be anonymous and will have a moderate amount of twist to it. It is still in the design phase but it does have much of the twists and some of the challenges at least thought out.

When I get a little closer to the game's launch I will be seeking co-mods but if BSG really speaks to you as something you want to mod rather than play you can send me PM.

It will be more like Hogwarts with the rounds being distinctly one or the other than like EtU.

Guys, NAH was in April. I'm not trying to make light of whatever happened, because I don't know what the hell happened. I missed NAH entirely, and all of a sudden people that used to get along disliked each other.

But that was months ago.

This is a community, I'm not sure why we still have to be mad at each other, why we still have to be passive aggressive and bully each other. I've been the victim of bullying in the past and it really hurts when I see someone, anyone really, get bullied. I don't know the reason but it's never justified. Most of us are adults and this is not adult behavior. You don't have to be besties, but please, start to move on, or at least voice your concerns in a more coherent manner.

Again, I'm really sorry about whatever happened, or whatever the reason. I'm not trying to make light of it and I don't want to take sides, I'd rather be friends with everyone because I've played with all of you before and know you're lovely and interesting people...but it just seems to me that something ugly has come from it and I'm just tired of seeing this, and I just don't know why it's necessary.

My post has nothing really to do with what happened in this thread with regards to the offsite thing. I thought xof's post was entirely valid and a good way to handle the situation, and I don't know that Cephrir did anything against that.

I'm just confused as to why you, Flameaxe, feels the need to be rude to people instead of trying to talk issues out, or what about the above procedure was poorly executed to you, that is all. I'm not trying to antagonize anyone, I'm just trying to figure out a way where we can reconcile this without yelling each other.

pedit I looked at the end of EtU and again I'm still confused why you felt the need to say the things you did. Perhaps I didn't understand what was going on but it seemed like you kind of attacked Ceph out of nowhere. I don't know where it's coming from. I wish you were more constructive with your complaints is all.

I don't understand.

I'm asking you to not mince words and explain.

I thought CC's bias has to do with someone running a game off site and advertising to us here, and I'm not a fan of that so I don't know what you're getting at.

The last thing I want to do is start an argument, I'm just really tired of seeing people get bullied and I don't know why it's happening. If you want to explain why you think it's justified or why it's not bullying, then I'd love to hear it. I'm not really sure why that's biased; I want you to talk to me despite my personal relationship.

This is basically my issue...like I'm starting to learn why you are responding this way instead of just seeing you attack someone I care so much about and I really wish you would have articulated yourself differently. I'm willing to admit to bias there; it affects me more when I see this.

Tbh I skimmed the EtU spectator forums so once again all I saw was you attacking him out of nowhere.

I'd just rather have a conversation about this rather than a shouting match.

My intent was never to antagonize anyone nor do I want to see anyone leave the site. I just wanted to know why someone I care deeply about was being antagonized, repeatedly.

I really don't think anyone was trying to do anything assholish, nor do I think anyone was trying to intentionally vilify anyone out of malice. I wish everyone could come and talk about their differences and have the opportunity to explain themselves, rather than assuming things about other people, and that we truly listen to each other. I just ask that next time we actually talk about what the heck is wrong, and I don't think that's a lot to ask. That is all I want, and I truly apologize if I made anyone uncomfortable or seemed to have any other motive in my posting.

Everyone here I've played with is really great and each brings something special and unique to the table, I truly believe. I think that's all I have to say.

If we're creating this position at all, it might as well be a responsibility for the curator to actually be responsible for keeping information up-to-date. If it's really too much work to ask a mod how their game is going, then we might as well go back to having everyone randomly give updates on their games, forcing everyone to dig through a huge thread for information any time they want to know something. There's a reason newbies like Radja are asking in-thread when the next game will be, so even if you personally don't need an organized OP for all of that, new people certainly do.

I respect you a great deal, and I know that Cephrir may not have been the best especially with regards to RSX since I really can only speculate what has happened, AND I know that I'm not exactly the pillar of objectivity, AND I'm not certain you're intentionally trying to judge Cephrir's reign with this post, so take this with as much grain of salt as you like, but I feel this post attempts to hold Ceph up to an impossible standard, considering he was the first one to do this, and (for example) even the 100th curator is going to have newbies inquiring in this thread about upcoming games.

If you want to discuss what this position should be, then fine, but I just ask that it be done with more forward thinking about how to improve it rather than backwards thinking about how Cephrir was apparently bad, when honestly I don't think he did a bad job other than maybe the one recent thing.

I think it is good that we can air our discussion out in the open, and I strongly believe that a lot of problems that have been perceived and that have existed here, is simply due to a lack of communication. I hope we as a community will remember to communicate rather than assume and be willing to talk to people we don't like if we need to.

I'm sorry if I'm just being an inciter of loldrama, or if I'm offending you, CC. I'm not trying to. Cephrir is someone I care about greatly, he feels pretty shitty about all that has happened. I'm going to feel bad either way, if I speak out or keep my mouth shut, so I might as well communicate.

Design is pretty much done and the forum is set up.

If anyone is interested to help review and/or co-mod (I am looking for 2 and need one with Survivor modding experience), please let me know.

Also, it is anonymous and 16 player.
