Started a Nuzlocke of Pokemon Black

Chose Oshawott as my starter

It's female and I love it and I will never let it die

In the middle of Route 3 and doing ok so far. My only casualty was my Purrloin from Route 2 that died to a crit tackle from a Patrat while I was training. RIP

Beat the first gym pretty easily thanks to the Fire monkey I got for free from the Dreamyard.

Caught Falco the Pidove on Route 3 and Charlotte the Woobat in Wellspring Cave. Gonna box Pidove for when one of my main Pokes inevitably die. Woobat is cooler imo and STAB Confusion is p. powerful at this point in the game.

Had 2 close calls on Route 3 so far while battling trainers. The first one had a Blitzle and I was like "lol it probably doesn't have an electric move yet" and left Charlotte in to get some experience. To my surprise it Shock Waved me to the face and Charlotte miraculously lived WITH 1 HP. I almost had a heart attack. The other close call was with my Patrat (who I haven't mentioned yet) named Nibbles who got critted twice in a row by a Woobat's gust. Lived with 4 HP.

We're living dangerously.

Holy shit Lenora was a nightmare.

Everything was going pretty smoothly until I got to the her. Lenora is one of the hardest fights in the game for me when I'm playing through normally so I knew I had to get my shit together and pull out all the stops or she'd completely wipe me out. I had raised Nibbles the Patrat to level 20 so it evolved into Watchog so it could take SOME hits?? I also wanted to make sure it had both Hypnosis and Confuse Ray going in so I could maybe hax my way to an easy victory.

I also brought with me Misty the newly evolved Dewott and Charlotte the will-probably-get-owned-by-dark-moves Woobat. Also Ru Paul the Audino and Teddy the Pansear who I wasn't even using on my main team just in case I needed death fodder. (I don't abide by that "you can only use the same number of Pokemon as the Gym Leader" rule ESPECIALLY for someone as challenging as Lenora)

So I take out her Herdier no problem with Focus Energy + CRIT Razor Shell from Misty. Then she sends out Watchog to revenge kill me with Retalliate and I send in Nibbles to sponge it and she takes it like a CHAMP and lives with 11 HP. Then shit hits the fan.

I don't really know exactly what happened but it took every last fucking healing/status item I had as well as BOTH of my death fodder Pokes to make sure my whole team didn't get wiped out. Out of Lenora's 6 times using Hypnosis, she didn't miss ANY. Luckily I had Chesto Berries that I don't even remember getting as well as an Awakening and Full Heal. I truly believe God interfered to make sure I had the exact amount of items needed for me to survive. Unfortunately, I only left the battle with Misty and Charlotte alive. Nibbles died to a crit Retalliate after I healed her up from the first one. RIP

So yeah I only have three Pokemon alive in total (counting Falco the Pidove who was boxed) and all three are weak to electric.

The heavens really need to smile down upon me because I need good encounters in the next few areas.

Nah I am a pretty terrible artist and probably wouldn't be very motivated to draw and relive the scenes of the tragic deaths of my Pokemon friends
