Basically, in a hypothetical LyLo with a scum and a town in a pair, and one other, if the town in the pair got mislynched, could they opt to have the other member in the pair suicide?

Yep it will go all the way to lylo. pairs can break up by request though.

This is mostly a scum favored mechanic. Unless you're CERTAIN the person you're making a topic with is town, I don't recommend that anyone steal anyone else's hat.

It makes any scum slot who succeeds in getting paired with town vengeful, while making it quite likely that town will screw up and kill off one another.

Having PTs with certain people can be very helpful for coordinating things, but again, I find it more likely that this will hurt town rather than help them.

Drixx and I probably won't be attempting to steal anyone's hat for that reason.

You know I have been angling with a hood with you all game long. With no opportunity to discuss, you rush at the last second to claim pink hat. You claim to have read, but where are the reads? You looked around for low powered players to pledge to, but then cool off from me because lol no nightmare.

You're now arguing against hoods and neighborhoods when we can align with lurkers to force them to post or die, at a minimum. If rb and I had the same colir hat, I could force him to be a decent human being. I could sort DS if he had a blue hat. Yet, he too went Pink. None of y'all even considered going opposite hatwise either. Now, I am not one to believe in coincidences RR. What about you?

So if I read this right, a pink who had no interest in participating in this mechanic in the first place can sit on it. That's good.
The description of the mechanic could include moderator deception. I don't think it's likely but it is a possibility.
