Hi, guys.

I am changing the rules that govern death in D&D, because 3.5e doesn't handle it very well. Instead of dying at -10 hp, you will die if you reach a quarter of your full hp in negatives. For example, if you have normally 80 hp, then you will die at -20 hp.

In addition, if you are in negatives, instead of rolling stabilization roll, a d10, you will roll a death saving throw, a d20. If you roll 1-10, you fail. If you roll 11-19, nothing happens. If you roll a 20, you wake up with a quarter of your hp remaining. If you fail three death saving throws, you die.

If someone heals you while you are in negative hp, you will be restored to zero hp before you add the hp they heal you for. For example, if you are at -12 hp and Brian Skies cast a Cure Light Wounds on you for 8 hp, you wake up with 8 hp.
