It might be one-sided on Pine's side considering he's only made one post showing he's online but stopped saying anything afterwards, however on my end, to give you context to the vote, I recently played a game as an IC and Pine had day talk as scum and manipulated me throughout the game till I sided with him in LyLo and lost the game for town and said I'd vote Pine every game we play together that has daytalk.

I'd love to be able to tell mods in advance what roles to give Pine and I but the likelihood of me playing a game with Pine and I on opposite factions to set up a grudge vote scum theatre just for this game IF we both happened to roll scum would be a god like miracle. However, as much as I wish that was actually true, it is literally a close to impossible scenario, ergo the most logical conclusion is to not treat it as such and wait for more substance throughout the thread before you think you honestly caught 2/X scums when you're already wrong about at least 1 of them.

Lol Debi, You don't get the context as to why it's actually a god like miracle and because you opened to the door to the maths, let's do it. (I'll also go over your other concerns but let me have some fun here)

Spoiler: Maths for the fuck of it
I have two completed games under my belt and then this one I'm playing. So far out of all 3 of them, Pine has been them all.

Now the first game was the HungerGames Round 2 and that contained 17 players and there was 4 evil roles so we start out as me landing scum with a 4/17 chance. Now we multiply that by the Pine having the slot of scum as well so it's 3/16. Let us not forget that Pine also replaced in to a scum slot so that's a 3/16 chance he had the chance of replacing in to a scum slot and join me with day talk which is a 1/2 chance of being included.

Next, we move onto a game we just had where we had 5/8 townies and that was my chance of landing townie and 3/7 chance for Pine to land scum that game and again, 1/2 chance of having a game together with day talk.

Finally, this is where we do a little assuming here but I doubt the maths change would be astronomical. We assume a 4:1 ratio of scum meaning we have 5 scums this game, Now by the way the PM was worded, I'm going to go under the premise of a 5 man scum game meaning there would be a 5/19 chance I roll scum and for Pine a 4/18 chance he's scum.

After multiplying by 100 to give us percent, we get

0.006475749% chance that all of this has occurred so Pine and I could use that as scum theatre.

I just realized we have to sift through 19 players worth of posts.

@Pine, The maths involved is based on the probability of a sequence of events that would give the desired result.

I'm kinda tired of arguing about the maths about it and it's becoming a waste of time for me.

I realized that continued discussion of it means people can argue maths like they do semantics and not actually scum hunt.

Mod note: Since I track votes in excel, I usually provide vote counts with links in them. It's a bit unusual compared to most mods, but I consider it a nice service for players. Sometimes I'll phone/ipad post a VC or the like and you won't get links, but usually you will.

YOU VOTE COUNT JUST LIKE I DO AND I LOVE IT <3

Also I'm willing to pitch in my vote to Wraith, I don't see how one can come to the conclusion that because one might be scum, that they'd know that the exact amount of other scum and someone did bring up the point about 9 scum being a D1 LYLO. Really an opportunistic push.

VOTE: wraith

Alisae, just wait for 4 hours to pass, if he still has a raging "murdercock" after 4 hours then it's concerning and we can try to help him.

With that, I'll talk to ya'll again when the Gators win the Outback Bowl!

P-Edit: Asked it multiple times and he's posted after I asked the question 3 times in a row. I'm not fucking dropping it thinking I'll let him get away with pushing lynches with no basis.

Hey Creats, fuck off and have fun with your conversation with HS.

I'll answer any questions you have after you're done with HS but I'm not giving you an outlet to escape that convo because I personally like the content coming out of it.

town lean on both, only reason I thought Creats was scum was the fact that he said he was going to lurk, right now he isn't and I'm leaving for the Outback Bowl so I can't honestly spend a lot of time giving a deeper read, as of now though, town leans.

I was seeing if I could attract a reaction out of him to see if he was lurking. No real meaning to it although I don't like how we got PMs about game start yet he's not here.

The difference here is that he's under the Burden of Proof because Uzi SAID I scum read Gamma, ergo he made it a one way street. Either way not posting is NAI but I was hunting a lurker, nothing is fucking wrong with that as it was a method to try and further figure out the remain slots. Although, you said it yourself your scum hunting sucks so I couldn't possibly expect you to understand something as simple as that.

Opportunistic? You're struggling on this framing aren't you? Please, tell me where the wagon that formed on Gamma was? Please tell me how I voted to join a Gamma wagon subtly? Please tell me how the fuck the was opportunistic?

Also please tell me what my logic was that you don't like? The only thing done on my part is "Let's see if I can startle a scum into reacting to my vote while they lurk." Now don't twist my words when I said the words scum, what I'm saying is explaining how a reaction test works. If Gamma popped up his head soon after I voted him, then boom I caught a lurker scum.

As of right now, he'll more than likely be prodded ergo all that was NAI.

That spam tho, here's a tip, spoiler tags to condense your post to save room and the spoilers help you keep your thoughts organized in one whole post instead of having to do a monologue for a page worth.

TheRealGin-N-Tonic
Spoiler: #drunkposting
Sorry not sorry for what I post

rb
Spoiler: Arby's
My new boo buddy. He's an innocent child although that mind isn't.

Alisae
Spoiler: To Alisae or not to Alisae
Alisae
I'm actually going to say town, on multiple websites she admits to being a shit town and bad at hunting, in the basis that she asks questions about what she thinks is sus makes sense to me but I don't like her relationship to Creature, they almost seem to have the same mindset or like to back each other.

Another thing that's got me a tickled town read is the fact that she voted me for saying scum have day chat. Just that entire interaction screamed town to me reading back.

Creature
Spoiler: The Thing
So far, he's been posting a lot and I see actual effort by him, going off of him hating scum, I'm almost willing to promise a town read here, that or he'll flake at the end and we'll know.

Wraith
Spoiler: Ye' of little Wraith
Wraith I'm liking after he did that one big post, I saw genuine scum hunting when analyzing the entire thread up to that point and that's why he's got a town read

Zachstralkita
Spoiler: Zach
Overall I like Zach, at first his posting was kinda weak but he's been showing he doesn't care about anyone, he's gonna do his thing and he isn't submissive either which I like.

-Grey-
Spoiler: 50 shades of Grey
Grey, I'm going to go with a town lean here. He's been active in the thread asking questions and pointing out illogical cases; overall his actions are justified

Debi
Spoiler: Debi Downer
When you dissect her posts(wall posts), she is pointing out logical inconsistencies and her reasoning is sound, ergo town lean

Lil Uzi Vert
Spoiler: Lucy fur
I'm town leaning to null with Lil Uzi, so far he's been posting good thoughts and I get a good gut feeling about him

Gamma Emerald
Spoiler: Gamma Zeta Alpha
BOY NEEDS TO POSTTTTTTT. Quasi feeling like it was scum slot flake considering he's posted in other games and not this one but null ultimately because of no posts

SlickDilinger
Spoiler: Mr Slick
Slick seriously needs to start posting cuz he's null with two posts and that's not helpful at all

drealmerz7
Spoiler: The Grim Drealmerz
Null but scum lean because of the opening LAMIST post

EchoVision
Spoiler: Echo Echoooo Echooooooooooooooooooo
I'm giving a scum lean. So far I've seen him have a joking manner but I get a bad vibe from it, like he's trying to hide behind the humour and his general diction. Only town thing I'm seeing from him is his vote for Wraith

Dunnstral
Spoiler: Dunn DA DA DA DUNNNNNNNN
Dunn so far he's in the middle of leaning scum and null. Reading through his posts, I'm not seeing him be aggressive with any of his scum reads and whenever he says someone is or isn't town, he's not giving any explanation as to why that slot is actually town.

Spoiler: Home Alone
All Alone is more than likely scum, 5 out of 7 posts are literal naked votes, no actual discussion coming from that slot except being a sheep. Also that last post capitalizing ITS PISSING ME OFF, reads fake as hell. If you honestly expect to have everything laid out D1 and easy, especially in a large, you're delusional or frustrated noob but that slots been alive for a year and half so I see it as a fake reaction. No reason an experienced player would think it would be easy.

ssbm_Kyouko
Spoiler: BDSM Tokyo
Post 178 got me fucked up with her saying she doesn't think it was scum theatre but then accuses Alisae of not thinking it could be scum theatre.
Post 368, she votes Alisae because she is asking people about what they think instead of interrogating them(which is asking them what they think).

Also in post 355, she says things dont look good regarding Alisae because she didn't try to defend me but the kicker is that she doesn't vote Alisae until more people voted her and decided to join the wagon at post 368.

Overall, she said she looked scummy but saw the opportunity to push the lynch on her closer so she thought it would be best to hop on at that point and blend in.

post 819 is one of the weakest cases to vote someone. If it wasn't clear, I was requesting a flashwagon on RB because I love to use people's words against them. @Post 694, RB says he's going to game solve before D1 ends and he'd be town as fuck, at this point a thought occurred to me that RB has been doing every single he's done in his own twisted scum hunting so I'd at least be willing to see where it takes me if I followed the little shit.

post 890, it's a vote against Pine and quite honestly, she doesn't ever mention Pine's name besides the scum theatre incident where she doesn't believe it was scum theatre. During this time around this vote, I noticed multiple votes go onto Pine, her reasoning of Pine buddying rb to protect me is a stretch and she didn't even show where it was done. I read it as just a quick reason to vote and hope on the newest trendy vote.

The last post I'm concerned about is post 930 where she all throughout the post she talks about Ircher and I being scum and how Ircher is scum and gives thought to it but says fuck that, I'll keep a vote on Pine when I haven't given reasoning or quotes as to how my read is actually a solid one.

Ircher
Spoiler: Windows Ircher 2008
I'm waiting on Ircher to make a reads list, after that I'll judge him

Pine
Spoiler: Senpine
I'm very paranoid about this slot but I can confidently trust my gut when I think he's scum. I learned not to second guess myself with him after having back to back games with him as scum. Honestly right now I haven't picked up any bad vibes from him. The only thing I don't like about this slot is his post about activity as I almost always see it as an excuse for a scum to make a "good post" trying to better the game when in reality it doesn't do anything except for shoot for brownie points.

Human Sequencer
Spoiler: My Name is Human
I'll update this read tomorrow night but it's 1am for me and I seriously need sleep for work and I'm tired of writing this post. As of right now, I'm getting the feeling that Human isn't trying his hardest. It's like he knows what he does as town but his efforts are lacking the strength they usually have.

Eventually I think I'll be able to add posts as to where my town reads come from, but yeah, I promised a reads list at work and ended up spending the night getting drunk at my girls house but I promised a reads list but it won't be renovated until like Thursday or Friday because honestly time is difficult for me during the weekdays.

Also with D1, you have around 12-15 players be at least town so honestly, D1 I give away town reads like candy. I go after those final few that grind my gears in the thread and I'm usually right from there.

If AA was a good player, or town, he'd be able to deduce that I thought Alisae was town after I "reread." Ya know, the part where I said I reread it.

I'm headin to work, i'll post more when I'm there

Mini GTKAS:
18, currently in 3rd year of college as in going for my bachelors, moved out and currently working full time at a laboratory until the semester hits.

My favorite drink is Gin and Tonic, I love chemistry, my girl, and mind games in that order.

One thing I'm self aware about is that I'm usually scummy as fuck in the beginning of games no matter what. I'm going through the ISO of Pine and he calls me his strongest town read but he never stated why. I'm curious as to what about my usually scummy as fuck play screamed town to him so much to declare me INNO from the start.

This is
exactly
the kind of non-answer I give out when I'm scum and someone catches me giving a bogus read.

Like, YES, obviously I saw the "reread". No duh, Clouseau. But there's still a clear incongruity there:

1) Gin reads the interaction the first time
2) Gin decides Alisae is scummy
3) Gin rereads the interaction
4) ?????
5) NOPE HE'S TOWN NOW

I think if Gin was town, he would have explained step 4 here. When townies backwalk their scumreads, they're usually really, really open about it. What changed? Why? There's not really a good reason to go into teeth-pull mode here, if it's a legitimate reread. But if Gin didn't legitimately reread Alisae, and there is no legitimate step 4, then the best he can do is point to step 3 again and act like that puts him above suspicion. Which is exactly what he did here.

Hi, look at how much I'm helping out the town, by pressure voting someone who's not even aware the thread exists

Green Gem Man's clearly forgotten about this game, seeing how he's already in prod range, and when he gets the prod he'll either post or replace out. These votes won't make any difference. If you'd instead voted me, or drealmerz, or SlickDilinger, it would at least be on somebody who'll read it and react to it. But this? This is just a lazy and useless way to look protown.

PEDIT: lol told you
It might be Friday or Saturday, whichever day I actually have free time off work but weekdays I'll admit my content will most likely always be shit. Not gonna stop me from at least making sure I catch up before sleeping.

As for step 4, keep this as a post promise and I'll explain it to you when I can, any other reads and I'll be happy to divulge in but for now, it's my little secret I have to keep.

Although I do have questions about you talking about Gamma.

First off you said he was Green, how do you know his slot is green? There should be no actual basis for you to have any read on him, granted I know the counter argument is that I voted for him when he didn't post anything but honestly, mine is justifiable in consideration that:
1) We got a role PM with game thread attached
2) WE HAD TO CONFIRM OUR ROLE via PM
3) We got a PM saying the game started-

scratch all that, he's back to NAI. I was going to make point 4 be how he was on when the game started but he was gone from Dec 31st to the 2nd of Jan and the game started the 1st.

Regardless, I still want to ask you how you got a green read on gamma?

While you're at it, don't forget why you decided to just naked vote throughout the game. Make sure to not accuse me of not explaining my reads as clear and concise as we want them to be when you literally offer no actual explanation as to why you vote, or unvote.

Last question for AA for the night.

Why is it that the only player you've commented on is myself?

You can say this is a tactic trying to get you to focus on other players but me but I only find it scum motivated to target one player and not talk about literally anyone else.

Last thing that struck my mind is were you trying to add emphasis to your scum read on me. You said I think THE GIN AND TONIC is scum.

You've correctly addressed me as Gin (which I prefer thank you) when you first voted me and then when you explain your reads you say it correctly so you saying that was deliberate. I believe it to be a subliminal trick to make anyone that reads it think your post has a higher level of importance; because we you all cap something and the rest is normal, it sticks out like a sore thumb. When you conclude soon after the attention grabber by saying scum, it makes the readers mind read everything in a pretense of scum being the correct answer and it allows the accuser to sway the opinion using subtly.

Of course all that wouldn't have been an issue and would have ignored this if this was a normal behavioral pattern for you but when you don't do anything in the thread, you leave me with the only option of interpreting the evidence in question as the way I see it and because of your lack of action in this thread, I can't check for consistency.

Quite honestly, if you're town, start pumping in work to this thread because you're not helping anyone here.

Damn, that's a detective-ass question. I'm reading this question and I can immediately sense that you're wearing a deerstalker. You are undoubtedly awaiting my reply with magnifying glass in hand. Your sidekick wants to help you out, but valiantly respects the prohibition of hydras in normal. Your pipe is packed. With cocaine, naturally.

But despite the many similarities between you and Sherlock Holmes, there's one huge advantage you hold over him, and that's access to image search. I want you go to your favorite image search and type in "emerald", and see if you can't solve the mystery as to why I referred to Gamma Emerald as "Green Gem Man".
I want to cry

Okay, first of all, I write the introduction to my post in the style of Kain Tepes and your conclusion is that I'm going for
subtlety
? Uhhhhh.... you might be a little bit off there.

And, honestly, wtf is the point of this? Are you seriously suggesting that caps lock is a manipulative scum tell? I feel like you're just arguing for the sake of it, and I really don't see the town motive for making stupid ass points like this.
Why don't you care about anyone else? I would love your reads on the town, if you have any.

Word choice and sentence structure is actually really revealing but I can't do huge analysis of a persons ISO until we've had multiple flips.

If I'm being honest, I feel like I'm starting to tunnel you and Im actually going to agree that any further arguing is arguing for the sake of it. Sorry not sorry but I can't get a full read on you based on your opinion of just one player

I've ignored your slot because I saw you and Pine as opposing forces and was against Pine, but that's pretty narrow-minded.

Actually analyzing you leads to the conclusion that you don't really care to find scum.

If we refer to when you start making votes, it really sucks. You mention Wraith in #241 with a vote, label his push opportunistic, but do not do anything else with it.

Interestingly enough, you don't really interact with Wraith after that. But his posts must have been good, because you've changed your stance to a townread as of late. I should think you'd have.. one or two direct interactions with him between point A and point B... but none at all. "I like [x player]" is really convenient. Really, really convenient.

Your next vote is on Alisae. I've illustrated prior why this wagon is shit and I can take all the things that I said about Pine and rb and apply them to your push without doing unnecessary leg work here.

However your presence on this wagon is important because of its dynamic.

You have your town pushing Alisae because he's lynchbait. You have sensible people defending Alisae because we can see he's lynchbait. You have those who are uncertain. You have those who say we can do without him. Then you have the scum who can just as easily join the wagon and not be differentiated from town because the arguments to lynch said lynchbait are the same simple bullshit reasons, but if you say them with enough conviction like you do, no one is going to look at you twice. Town is easily distracted. They've other shiny things they can focus their attention on.

However looking at your arguments with him, you've managed to craftily misrepresent everything he says in response to you to make him look bad, when all this tells us is you don't care about new information because you have a fixed read or because it doesn't matter to you because all you need is something to push.

Your votes change and stuff and ...eh.. I'm inclined to agree with AA about your reads.

Speaking of AA, your approach to him was entirely plastic.

But somehow you can get a scumread on Slick based on his opinion of.... no players...? Your vote there was terrible. Your vote's still there. It's terrible. This statement is as well.

Anyone can ask questions. Scum does it a lot. It doesn't really mean anything because there's always something to ask about.

All your scumhunting has been the jack of all trades, master of none sort. It takes up space, looks good, but at large accomplishes nothing and town can siphon nothing from your efforts because it's all for show.

When pushed by or negatively engaged with anyone, you turn to a hardass as if you can strong-arm your way out of every conceivable situation. It can only take you so far.

If you say I'm still pushing for an Alisae lynch, that's a strawman argument. Nice paragraph but it crumbles if you're accusing me of still pushing her.

The difference between AA and Slick is quite simple. One is putting in leg work and AA's arguments are justifiable while Slick has admitted to not wanting to contribute or put in his input. That's a scum claim in my book.

Misrep. You have simply taken Slick's 1065 and made it fit your narrative.

When you say he's admitted to "not wanting to contribute or put in his input" you've conveniently left out the part where he says he's absent because he feels there are stronger personalities scum hunting.

It's a misrep of his intentions. We have no way of knowing if they're malicious or not but you've portrayed them as such by default, which is a simple generalization.

Actually, I really love this question. Tell me the scum motivation in wanting everyone to contribute?

Also tell me the pro-town agenda with allowing lurkers to continue playing throughout the game?

Let me tell you exactly why, as scum, lurkers are your best friend. It's because those slots don't do anything, and when it gets close to the middle-end game, you can easily slam lurkers for mislynches because they just don't defend well or slow play to hide under the radar while TvT argue all game.

The best strategy in a large is to kill the loudest voices and leave the quietest alive. When town is full of quiet people, the scum voice is strong and town won't be able to communicate effectively to figure out the truth and bam you have a win.

I honestly don't see any logical reasoning as to the benefit of allowing people to just be part of the game and spectate. You give them a free pass because they don't contribute and that's just horse shit reasoning for any defense on a player.

No, you said I accused you of still pushing an Alisae lynch.

And I did not do that. I talked about your votes and when I talked about the Alisae vote I talked about the Alisae wagon.

I've already answered your second question. Town defend lynches like that the same way. It's simple.
So lets look at that wagon some more. The VC said there was 4/10 votes on Alisae, I was the 5th vote on it and I was actually the catalyst of pushing that lynch further and I had a lot of discussion with Alisae, in fact I was the main one arguing with her. Didn't "try to blend in there" Also I've only voted Alisae once and that vote lasted a little more than 2-3 hours. Now, if I stayed on that wagon for a long time, that wagon analysis would have made sense with my presence on it with me just place holding my vote on her but it didn't last for anything. That's the real dynamic of it.

It's very disingenuous to imply that I should be applying the same argument to that slot as I am to yours. Anyone can see why.

The only purpose it serves you to do something like that is to detract from my argument and not actually address it, which is what you've attempted to do here.

For one, I'm fine with him lurking at the moment because I don't believe he intends to cause harm and we have bigger fish to fry. There's no real reason for me to have to judge his slot the same as your slot considering the stark differences both of you have and the way the gamestate has progressed.

A lurker lynch Day 1 of all places is piss poor. We have so much more shit to go off of.

You're only using this as a pivotal point of your argument because you're trying to discredit me.
what the fuck is your argument if it's not that you think my vote on Slick was scum motivated?
TheRealGin-N-Tonic wrote:Actually, I really love this question. Tell me the scum motivation in wanting everyone to contribute?
Didn't say there was scum motivation in wanting everyone to contribute.

There's scum motivation in you taking what Slick said and grossly misrepresenting it then jumping to an argument about my reasoning.
[/quote]

Before I answer this and you just pass it off as a misrep, I'm going to make sure you give me a confirmation that it's what the fuck you think.

Are you saying that I had scum motivation to vote a slot because they didn't want to contribute and then I jumped into an argument about your reasoning(What reasoning are you referring to)?
In post 1210, Zachstralkita wrote:

This game is barely off the ground. There's no need to discuss this far into the future. All you're really doing is running around.

The rest of your post has no merit. I didn't make any catch-all statements about lurkers. I'm talking about one person specifically and the circumstances surrounding him.

You're trying to simplify and broaden my argument in the hopes that people reading won't see you talking about things that I'm not saying at all.
Failure to plan is planning for failure mate, remember the random midget lynch? That's exactly why I hate lurkers as town because they're so easy late game. I'd rather slots turn from non-lurkers into active ones so we have opinions to go off of.

I'm going to go off this argument chain because I think we are arguing two different things.

I've shown a consistent theme of voting lurkers until they contribute for the main purpose that I can gain reads on them.

First Creature, bam now he's hella active and I stopped pushing it.

Second Gamma IIRC and once he's started posting, I felt better about his slot.

Now I'm at Slick and once he starts posting, I'll be able to get a read on him and go further from there.

The difference between you and I's ideologies might be the fact that you're focused on a select group of people and I prefer having information about every slot even if it's just D1.

I vote creature for saying he will lurk till D3 and Zach doesn't say a word.

I vote Gamma because he hasn't posted at all in the game and Zach doesn't say a word at all.

I vote AA and he doesn't say anything at all.

I vote Slick and now I deserve a vote. I'm quoting this post in twilight if I do end up being D1's lynch because I swear to god if that ain't a possibility for a chainsaw then I'm sorry but I don't know what it.

I don't find there to be any consistency to accuse me of scum when I voted a lurker and haven't said anything about the other lurkers I have voted at the time I did it.

Human, it's impossible for it to express dishonesty. It would be dishonest to say I didn't care about RB's thoughts on me but also ask him over and over about his case, after he was confirmed mind you. I was only on his ass asking about his case because I didn't know his alignment and thought he was scum pushing a quicklynch with no basis.

Also there isn't actually any point in arguing with an IC, he's confirmed so why would he start arguments with one player. In general it's best he lets the rest of the players argue as that lets the argument help indicate the alignment of two in question, otherwise it's a one-sided battle and you can't get much information of it.

I do have to ask why it's scummy to ignore a player, who you know is town, and scum reads you but hasn't said anything damning about you? If anything I'd say it would have been scummy to try and appease RB and try to make him like me after being on his ass instead of vice versa.

It just feels so fake and forced coming from you, believe me there is so much I want to say but I'm trying my hardest to not bias my thoughts and just think about this game.

It just doesn't feel like a genuine accusation to say someone is scum based off of what you perceive as their town or what you think is fake or not. Like reading emotions off of text is based purely out of PoV and I just don't get how you're willing to vote me if the crux of it is saying I sound fake.

I mean I'm getting confused as hell by these votes.

The ones that make sense are Zach, he's made it clear he isn't having my shit and we've argued about it, but then there is Alisae who got me fucked up right now due to me being one of her stronger TRs and then votes me with ease. Right now Human, the problem I have with your vote is as explained above. Another vote that I think is town motivated is AA because when he did push me, he did it logically and I could see that from his perspective, what I was doing looked scummy.

At this point it's a game, if RB reads me as town, I win, and he knows that.

A serious answer is that you're mainly a very serious person and when you say something, I treat you with the respect that you give me. In the case with you, actually trying to rationalize a situation can actually propel the game forward; with RB, he's a living breathing meme. It's actually a lot harder than you think having a conversation with a meme.

P-Edit: I get what you're saying and about the misunderstanding, thus why I didn't try to accuse you of saying the loaded question was scum motivated, but to make sure we are both on the same page before we go neck and neck again and realize something was a misunderstanding.

Form my perspective, I started the argument at the beginning because I thought you were calling me a liar and then once you said you were talking about emotions it went into a downward spiral until you quoted yourself talking about the tone and content thing and at that point, it made me think that their was a misunderstanding in what you and I were both arguing about so I established what I thought was wrong from the start and now we are here

Also watch that, this is exactly how I feel about RB and I's relationship. Of course, RB is playing Vegeta. You'll also completely understand my reference because its almost a direct quote lmao

Anybody would defend themselves if somebody claims somebody as scum, not reacting is wierd.

If I'm correct, you're the 6th or 7th vote on me so at this point it's no longer pressure voting. Give reasoning because, going under the pretense that you are town, you want to be able to clearly say why you thought player C was scummy enough for a vote instead of someone being able to misrepresent what you thought was scummy about me.
Before I go into detail, I'd like to thank you, for your extra reasoning you provided me.
'At this point it's a game, if RB reads me as town, I win, and he knows that.'
Am I genuinely the only person getting a scum read from this or not?
The only person that gets a scum read from it is one that doesn't understand the concept of humour. I provided the link showing the exact reference and I talked to HS about it, and these forums have a Preview Edit thing so you should have read that before you posted this.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: So let me get this right, if the person who stemmed all of the arguments against you admits that you're town, then you win?
This is actually a false question because RB never set up any arguments for me.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: First of all, for somebody to stem an entire argument against somebody, they have to think they are scum, or just think they are suspicious, or the like. So he obviously doesn't think you are town, that's absurd.
If you can point out where RB laid out a case against me, this statement would have validity but there isn't.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: Also why would you win? I assume it is because you are Scum.
Now, I'd win because the seething hatred RB has for me is palpable but to hear him admit I'm town is going to be sweet music to my ears. It's more like a personal thing I have with RB now.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: What would the point in you being town, and being confirmed town be? All right, so 1 person thinks you are town, alright, so what about the other 17?
This should help answer the above question. The reason that this isn't scum motivated is due to the fact, although I'll admit you believe in the impossible, if RB town reads me instead of saying I'm scum, it still doesn't change anyone else's perspectives.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: If 1 person thinks that you are town, big deal, the other people voting for you will still think you are Scum. So you won't win in the slightest way. There will still be people voting for you. The only way for you to win, is if the entire Scum faction were voting for you, and all of them instantly unvoted as RB unvoted. Which I find to be really unlikely, as many of the people voting for you have different reasons to vote you, yes they do stem from the discussion you and RB originally had, but they still have slightly altering opinions.
At this point in your post, I seriously think you misunderstood that by "winning" I don't mean winning the game, it's just a thing between RB and I.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: The only other way that you can win, is if you are Scum. If you are Scum, you will obviously quote on quote 'win', as the less people who think you are Scum, the more likely you are to win.
Let's say RB is also Scum, the people who think RB is Scum, will immediately turn onto you, making it seem like he's trying to make a Scum member seem innocent.
The people who think RB is town, won't turn on you, as 'why would a town purposely call another town a Scum?.

Due to this, I'm 99% certain you are Scum now.
This is where I stopped taking you seriously and I doubt I'll continue until you shape up. This argument is invalid considering RB is...ya know...IC
In post 1327, Debi wrote: However, as to before my post, this is why:
'Well if you think I'm scum because of my town then you don't have a solid grasp on my personality lmfao. '
I don't know about anybody else. I think this is very Scum based. Of course you want to defend yourself, but this is way too far-fetched. You want us to believe you are town, yet you provide no reasoning at all, other than 'then you don't have a solid grasp on my personality'. This seems far too desperate, far far too desperate. The worse thing is the 'lmfao'. You are saying about your personality, yet this is the only time I've saw you say 'lmfao', or similar, in a serious context.
You'd have a point here until HS and I came to the conclusion that we were misunderstanding each other and took the time to solve the issue at hand. It's starting to become evident and rather annoying to the point I'm thinking it's scummy that you use impossible scenarios and hypotheticals that are either answered if you read the thread or so far out there that their only use is to fit the narrative that you try to push.
In post 1327, Debi wrote: Want to know something which makes this much worse? 'I'll get serious when I get off work'..... What!? 'I'll get serious when I get off work'. Am I the only person who interprets this as being a cover-up, as if you are trying to say 'Ignore everything which happened recently, I'm obviously not trying at the moment'. If not, and you really are in work, then you are a hypocrite. You have been making out that you take the game really seriously, and that you are a very serious person, who gets their priorities in order. Which makes 0 sense, if you take the game seriously, why would you not take it seriously, when pressured especially, and when you are in work. And if you take important things more seriously, then why on earth are you playing whilst in work!?

VOTE: Gin
Guilty till proven otherwise.
This again is you pushing something that's a misrepresentation to fit your narrative in order to justify a vote.

What happened is I went away for an hour, read Zach's post and made a joke that he played along with. It's called having fun and that's actually one of the most important things to have when playing Mafia. Also if you say I'm serious this entire thread and it doesn't make sense that I'd produce humorous content, may I refer to you to the multitude of memes and name pun's of posted/made relating to this game?

Oh and you're right tho about IRL matters that I should be focusing a lot of my time at work to working but...

You scum read me with a vote saying that you read other people's words and said that's good enough for a vote.

Your reasoning was actually fucked up when posting and I need to get this straight with you.

You said you didn't like Usi, myself, and Creature which, excluding me, is part of the town block and then you go on to say the only person you really hate on the wagon is Dunn which leads to the logical conclusion that you would vote him but I got the vote.

There's a logic leap there and I'm just confused as to why you wouldn't vote your top scum read? Hate=thinks is most scummy for clarification as to why I said scum read instead of hate

We need to just end D1 because I'm starting to become apathetic. We can bitch and moan about lynches all we want, I'm just starting to lose interest.

Honestly, I could do a reads list in depth but it won't truly matter until we get flips on players.

As of right now I'm vote parking on Echo and will make a case on him because out of all my scum reads, he's the one I want to make a case on.

I'm not sorry when I say this but your slot is not one that needs to be alive in the late game, you're careless with your votes and when you do vote, you're easily swayed. Quite honestly if you're town, you've done the town more harm than good but if you're scum, well that explains a lot.

Under what logical conclusion do you think you can fucking make where you don't have to vote someone and not give a single fucking reason, much less a case on someone?

In Mafia, it's what you fucking do. You don't just sit where you are and think "Oh I don't have to say anything, I'm right and don't need to explain myself." It's not how it works. You present your case because not only does it help people see your point of view and then they listen to you and vote with you, they then also can tell your alignment by how genuine a case was, blah blah.

It's how you play and you need to learn that other people looking at your slot don't know you're town if you're town that game.

If that doesn't make any sense to you, I can provide a link to the newbie queue where an IC can tell you the same damn thing.

Now if Echo were to come back and not post his reasoning behind the vote, fine, that's blatantly scummy.
But he doesn't even give the poor kid a chance.
IF Echo said he thought I was scum and did a FoS, then it would have been chill but you don't fucking prod dodge for 3 days and vote someone to put them at L-3 and then bounce to avoid discussion. If you're not able to think clearly, then you don't make decisions like that. I've already said this shit but now you're appealing to emotions saying "he doesn't even give the poor kid a chance." Seriously?

You know what placing a vote is without reasoning? Voting without conviction...gee golly ain't that a concept.

I'm giving a scum lean. So far I've seen him have a joking manner but I get a bad vibe from it, like he's trying to hide behind the humour and his general diction. Only town thing I'm seeing from him is his vote for Wraith

Oh and my beginning read where even drunk me agreed he was scum

I'm leaning more town on Alisae but I'm policy lynching that fucking slot.

I can sum up why the policy lynch is almost a necessity right now in a couple of questions.

1) Do you, as town, trust Alisae to make a good decision in LyLo, regardless if you are alive or not?

2) Do you, as town, believe Alisae's spam-like posting and OMGUS behaviour benefit the town more than it does harm it?

3) Do you, as town, believe that you can get a fair read on her by the end of the game and will be able to fairly judge if her slot is scum or not compared to an a scum slot?

If you can prove how Alisae's slot strengthen's the vitality of the town, then I'll back off, until then, I'm 100% confident that this lynch is actually the better path to go down.

In post 1745, All Alone wrote:I see Gin found a way to get back on the Alisae lynch after hard defending him, without ever having explained the townread like he promised

in other news, Gin is scum
She's town because of how much she shit posts. No way with daytalk would she post so much here.
Her general play screams her town game, it's weak and illogical and drives you up the wall, but town play.
Seriously, someone on her team would have told her to shut up and actually focus and help her out.
In post 1758, All Alone wrote:If Gin genuinely believed Alisae needed to be a policy lynch, he wouldn't have hard defended him and then waited until they were both lynch candidates to bring it up. That is survivalistic play.
I request a policy lynch on her because of what I said earlier:

Also can't call it survivalistic play when I reignited the wagon besides the staple votes that were already on her.

Can we just lynch somebody like today? At this point I don't even care if it's me but I'm not self-hammering because it's unethical

Fuck a flashwagon, I want the day over and lynch me, dreal or Alisae.

I'm actually willing to take a bullet because my conversations and the reasons people scum read can be analyzed. I don't think I missed talking to a single player on this thread so really, I'd be the most informative lynch.
