so far, players are split on whether the game should be reviewed or not, but

everyone

agrees that roles should be distributed based on players' preferred roles. that probably won't be directly feasible given that so far 75% of the players want to be third party. maybe I'll have all the players who want to be third party be town if the consensus is letting me just pick... I'm actually really surprised people aren't going for random role distribution at all!

one thing I'm debating is the

extent

to which I should have control over the distribution of roles--players want their preferred role to determine role distribution by a pretty wide margin, which is interesting--but, for instance, is it a step too far to have a FrankJaeger/ɀefiend neighborhood based on the premise that they're both documentary fans? I'll have to think about that one. similarly, I'm considering having Narna be a third party lyncher targeting SnarkySnowman so that he will find joy in SnarkySnowman being mislynched--is that too extreme? again, I'll have to think about it. lots of interesting implications with the results of this questionnaire!
