2. What made you decide to give MS a try?

I started playing mafia offsite on a site that is not strictly for mafia. I heard about this site from there and started playing on here when the community started to die.

3. Do you prefer to play town or mafia?

I prefer town. I enjoy the investigative aspects of the game and puzzle solving.

4. What is your favorite/least favorite roles?

Least favorite: Bodyguard/Innocent Child
Favorite: Vanilla townie. I enjoy being a VT as I don't have to explain any night actions, have to rely solely on my puzzle solving abilities, and don't have to worry about putting a power role upon being forced to claim.

When to claim

Sometimes claiming might not be ideal. If you're a PR, you'll most likely be nightkilled/roleblocked (if there's one) next night. If you're a VT, you'll help scum narrow down the list of PRs.

There are some situations where you should claim:

• When you're at L-1
  and someone declares intent.
  
  
• When you got an incriminating result (or you feel you got).
  
• When you feel there's no reason to not claim anymore.
  
• When town agrees on a massclaim.

I disagree. I think there are times in which one should claim when they are at L2/1 even before someone declares intent. I'll expand on that later.

Thinkbig if you're actually town and just happened to check the thread via phone 10 minutes after I voted and overreacted based on an l-2 because you were on mobile and couldn't read and claimed because you didnt have time to respond because you weren't home yet and you also have your own personal theory that people should claim at l-2 without intent I've never heard about, I think I hate both you and my luck.

In my games, I tend to overreact to pressure and votes. Especially when I am at L-2 with 14 days left in the DP.

tb and shade are my prefered scumbuddies for rask. scum busses and tb flaked quick when the pressure ratcheted, and shades been distant but rask has been mostly ignoring shade until people started staring his way.

For the record, I'm not flaking and I will be contributing to the game.

My problem with games is that I don't tend to respond well to pressure and don't know how to respond when people are SR'ing me. I tend to fall back when there is a wagon on me.

My biggest problem in games is that I tend to not know how to respond or continue when I"m widely scum read and when I have a huge wagon against me. I tend to lurk and fall back so I don't make more mistakes.
