If there are Masons in hiding, for example, there's the risk that the vig hits them.

So a silent tee hee game may be detrimental to the town.

This example comes from Quirkytown where there was a confirmed Mason who was unclaimed (Me) and a known Vigilante running around gunning people down.
A townie (Kise) advocated lynching himself and for the Mason to claim to avoid being vigged during the night.
After some confusion (because we all had post restrictions) I finally claimed, avoided getting shot by the vig, and the scum HAD to go after the vig to avoid getting killed.
They missed the Vig.
I forced the vig and the last mafia to shoot each other the following night.
SK and I won for town.

Sorry Kuroi had to die to see it through though.

I liked the idea of the quest system, however I do think that it has more of a place in a large game, because we only got to do 3 locations out of the 14 I had planned. A large game with this system would be more interesting and allow more quests to be done.

I loved it. This is basically what I always wanted to do with Dungeon-Crawl Mafia but never got around to it.
A mini might be too small, but a larger large is too big. I think there's a sweet spot in 16-18 players though.

I mean, Town was stacked, yeah.
But it could have gone 100% wrong very quickly.
If shaddows had dayvigged town, and I had shot town N1, we would have been looking at 6:4 D2 if they actually recruited Creature.
It would have been swingy any way you dice it.
Hider could have died N1 too. So much could have gone completely wrong for town.

I included Shaziro's name in a cop PM, which was a result of getting too into the flavor. I honestly don't think it would have changed anything in this game, but an important lesson to learn for future games, especially since we did indeed have a re-director in the game.

I don't really think this was that bad.
I mean, 'YOUR TARGET IS ALIGNED AS TOWN' is more frustrating than getting a different result.

Andrius, the end of D1 made you look so scummy from my perspective, it was unreal. I had theorized the truth almost 100% after I unvoted. Andrius shredded it with something very reasonable, but after the flip, what I had suggested was all so true, it looked like a masterful scum move to push through the mislynch. From our recent history together, I feared Andrius-scum knew I would see the difference in his play after that D1 move and would NK me because of it. That's why I commuted myself instead of someone else. I even sent Clumsy and Andrius-esque night action PM with all the possibilities that were crossing my mind before deciding my final decision. When Creature was the only one that died, I assumed scum took the N1 shot at me. When kuror0 and shaz came out calling Creature the scum kill, this is what I was referring to when I was insisting he'd been vig'd.

See I had you pegged as solid town but when you came around trying to stop the Jason lynch the warning lights were going off being all like HES TRYING TO SAVE HIS BUDDY and I was determined to have my Jason lynch.
