The prequels weren't total garbage, but they were definitely not up to par. I liked VII and Rogue One quite a bit

In case this starts in the next day or so, I am temporarily V/LA. Very limited access next 24ish hours. Really it started today, but I thought I could handle it. I was wrong, with the pace of this and other obligations. This post is being made sitewide.

No, the Emperor was aware of the coming of the Yuuzhan Vong, and was uniting the galaxy to defeat the extragalactic invaders. Any casualties incurred during this beneficent unification would have been saved tenfold through peace and victory under iron fist of imperial rule

Actually, I'm a Trek fan, but I despise TOS. Too campy, too much internal inconsistency. The later series take themselves more seriously.

Voyager was my first Trek series, but it's a lot less quality overall than TNG and DS9. I like individual characters in Voyager, a lot of the stories are forgettable. They also had a succession of writers, each of whom had their favorite characters, so there are heavy Mary Sue elements, and some well-developed characters get forgotten later on.

Picard>Spock>Sisko>Janeway>New Kirk>Archer>Old Kirk

Sorry. I like Shatner in other stuff, but not Trek. And I know Spock wasn't Captain in TOS, but he really made the show.
