Zac is such a fun champ for Top/Jg.

In top you basically never
lose
lane, you just go even by farming up and building your items, and if you ever win lane, you dumpster lane.

In jungle, you just get those massive ganks from miles, and can steal dragon without staying in the pit via your E.

S+ and first game of being gold, some people really don't make it easy, especially people stuck into one build and one build path (Malphite didn't build MR items until Sunfire and Iceborn were both complete, and even complained about no MR while not having both items complete, cause annie was getting fed).

I always get annoyed when a fire dragon actually does pop up, because i always tend to be on a tank in the games that they do pop up (and thus make 0 use of it)

My main problem with your thought process is you think you can decide what the bronzie plays, if they are bronze, they will likely play a damage heavy champion top (think fiora/riven) and not go anywhere near even, and probably have ass farm.

Honestly if you have a good ADC you can probably cope with a half decent support and are better off putting someone better into the jungle.

2 ways i would consider setting it up.

Top - Bronze
Jungle - Diamond
Mid - Platinum
ADC - Gold
Support - Silver

OR

Top - Bronze
Jungle - Platinum
Mid - Gold
ADC - Diamond
Support - Silver

I'd argue that number 1 is better for the current patches, 2 is probably more viable in a few patches when the ADC isn't gonna get instant 1-shot extremely often (cause even diamond players would have that problem).

Just went against a top lane illaoi, with exhaust/ignite, god damn that was freaking annoying, she instantly Ult+Exh+ignite and then could really easily one shot me, because base damage of tentacles is fucked.

i personally like pool party rek'sai, though i can see why people wouldn't, and eternum is fairly bad.

My problem is putting a legendary on a champion with what is arguably some of the better low tier skins.

So reading the patch notes right now, is the Zed change actually a nerf?

Now he just pokes through minions harder, for the most minimal damage loss, this to me is a massive buff to poking people down (something zed already does) and the fall off is slightly less all in damage (which he will still one shot you if he hits his stuff.)

EDIT: Nvm i was reading it wrong and attributing it to the Q fall off through minions, when it's the multiple shuriken hits that is making the change

EDIT 2: "Your shop" seems like it is actually personalized this time, i pulled Ekko, Zac, Kindred, Nidalee, Kog'maw and Elise skins, and all of these are either strong champions of mine, or ones that i have played recently (Zac is one i have picked up recently.) and bought 3 of the 6.

She actually seems fairly strong now that i have played her (though i didn't use her ult outside of basically a short TP)

Quick question that i want to pose, would Titanic hydra be a worthwhile late game item on a health tank regardless of how auto heavy they are (EG. Sejuani, Ekko sort of champions)?

It's just (and here is my thinking on it) as a late game item, you have an item that scales off 10% of your maximum health, as damage, as more of a final item that is looking at 400ish (my experience is around 4k health) damage though as AD damage along with the Grasp Keystone, and the passive on hit extra damage.

I wouldn't put it in the build earlier as the core items are extremely core for most tanks (Sunfire, SV, iceborn)

Mind you i guess i'm also a person known for picking up things like Maw/Scimitar on Tank Ekko for specific scenarios.

EDIT: Also as a note, if your having trouble with a healing champion, and you are ranged, pick up an executioners calling if you can't get them below 40% to stop the healing, even on AP champs that can really fuck with things, that's what i get for mentioning Maw/Scimitar on Ekko :lol:

The fact that every 3rd Q deals double damage (with not bad scaling) and heals for a % of his missing health.

He just ends up being a tanky sustained mage that actually deals a decent amount of damage while being healthy and being impossible to escape.

I remember like a year ago when the bot problem was at it's peak you could get into games easily with 4+ bots.

At the moment from what i can tell, a majority of the bots use the same naming conventions, and can be easily spotted, not that riot cares.

So this is a thing that is happening, really don't think this will do that well, as i don't even think there are that many league players in Australia, let alone, enough that would actually be able to demand enough of it that it would be profitable.

EDIT: As a note, i decided to look up the price i would be paying to get a teemo hat shipped here, 30 USD, or 40 AUD, and the teemo hat in the store is 32 AUD, an 8 AUD saving for actually going to a store and picking it up instead of just ordering it and getting shipped to my door, really unsure as to why they tried physical stores.

Funny how 1/1 in provisionals on a fresh 30 account, is somehow at silver 2 MMR.

Also like how for some reason because i'm not playing in super tryhard mode, i am trolling according to that team, not to mention it was a 4 man premade with a shitty jungler who died top and gave double buffs over to an Ahri (went in on 300 health and was shocked that i didn't go in and, i dunno tank it), when i was shen, and me losing that lane is my fault.

Losing your lane is
always
your fault in a sololane.

Junglers might be dumb sometimes and make it harder, but that just means you should have been winning the lane earlier. Even if your opponent is up gold/buffs you should be able to mechanically outplay them unless you're in masters+
Oh no doubt but it's an account where i really cbf, and it was already going to be a hard lane without the double buffs on the ahri with me as shen.

But the fact that she tower dove me shortly after because she now had doubles and could do that, it limits what i could do in lane significantly out of sit back and get 0 of anything.

One note, you don't have a normal AD one tailored to be in a lane against magic damage, not sure if that's not something your worried about or what.

My thoughts;
Rune page 2: Though this doesn't nesscearilly currently apply, you could consider running 5%+5% scaling CDR in your blues, this depends on your personal item preferences and whether you hit 40% or not (and could allow you to change boots to pen from lucidity.)
Rune page 4: I'd recommend just buying (/using) a third AS quint and putting the Armor/MR back into this page
Rune page 7/8/9: if you can afford the runes, Scaling health seals are better then flat health seals in a lot of cases where you want to take health seals.

Other then my own thing of you running 5/4 instead of 6/3 (it's so much cleaner for my bit of OCD, fucking CDR runes have made me like this) it's mostly alright, just remember tailor runes to yourself, and know what other people use.

Dynamic queue, the ranked queue where any possibly actually new players, will play against golds on a regular basis.

Finished Provisionals on my Smurf Silver 4, and have played with so many gold players it ain't even funny.

Yes but it's that telegraphed for something that can half hit most people, and doing that while someone is stuck in an animation gives even less time to react.

Not to mention, if you haven't hit someone with it, they aren't expecting it to be so quick (if they haven't read the patch notes.)

Also it feels like it's less than .84 seconds (I haven't gone to the point of timing it, but it feels around the .5 second mark.)

Here's my thinking, and i'm not saying ani does or doesn't deserve to climb or anything like that.

If you are queuing as a support by yourself, likelihood is both teams will have premades, because that is what Dynamic queue has caused, these premades can be good, or can be bad, but this isn't the point.

The point that will affect ani, is that she 100% will have no knowledge of her ADC, no voice comms etc.

Yet there is a decent chance, that the enemy team has a Premade bot that know each other well and have voice comms, and i run into this all the time in my games, and can't think of a time in ranked where i have had 2 un-premade bot lanes.

This doesn't change anything in terms of everyone else on the rift, but it makes any support main without a premade, have a hard time, sure you can do the right things, but if the bot laner doesn't know what the right things to do are, then you run into a problem, and even just being out of sync with your bot laner can cause problems (going aggressive when your ADC doesn't expect it for example)

Do you look at club tags before the game starts (or during i guess)?

Well quite clearly, the only reason a jungler shouldn't be able to do anything, is if they are a 6 dependant jungler, and somehow all your lanes have fed 2 kills to the enemy laners, and even then, most 6 junglers can still get off a half decent gank.

I do somewhat agree that it can be hard if all your lanes are losing, but that shouldn't really ever be a case.

Yeah with tristana i'd assume towers is what has happened.

I know that i pick up tristana a decent amount of the time i get ADC, and i rarely do jack shit in teamfights (i also do jackshit in teamfights on all the other ADC's i pick though).

Yeah Hextech Crafting is surprising in how many decent skins you can actually get, that said i swear they must randomize the level of skin you get, then the actual skin, because i have gotten plenty of overlap.

It depends on what happens with the duo queue on the other side.

I had 6k health, and that was before i was finished my build.

15% bonus health (on top of cinderhulk) is not a small amount that they should have given to Nunu.

Yeah he clearly just doesn't understand that dodging is a legitimate mechanic used to climb.

Sure someone who has a 15% win rate on their champ might do well that game with them magically, but likelihood is, they just got carried in those games, and that means nothing to the state of what they are playing.

I also don't understand the people who play champions that are well under 50% win rates past like 20+ games on them, because it's clear that they are either not good on them, or aren't doing the right things on them.

1st game is me defending a team mate from lux who was basically inting and blaming others.
2nd game is swain inting.
3rd game is me being abused for not ganking, as a skarner, when i couldn't really gank before 6.
4th game is me being annoyed at the 3 man premade of star guardians who were just ditching me and my mate when we were tanking everything to do nothing.

All in quick succession so i was getting tilted and playing with friends.

And a note before people try to berate me for the wording used.

This is OCE worse then this is said on a regular basis, and hell by several of my teammates in nearly all of those games.

Agreed, but people on OCE don't get banned for that crap, legitmately the word downie gets used quite often, and very rarely does it lead to a ban (i know someone who uses the word and hasn't even recieved a ban yet.)

Jungle changes are interesting, but a few key notes:

Probably best to start a buff camp, as krugs/gromp spawn around 1:50

Starting Krugs, clear ALL smalls then the big, the difference is 60 EXP (180/120 into level 2)

Still very easy to get executed (i've managed to get executed on a Ekko clear.)

As a note for control wards, makes sure if your bot lane to put it in the outer part of the bush against stealth champions, or they can hug the wall to stealth around them (900 is slightly too short when they are in the right side of the main bush and left side of the tri.)

Twitch is actually a really strong jungler now, his stealth is basically eve levels of annoying, except he can stealth mid combat with a kill, and i believe the radius is smaller on the stealth detection.

Flex right now is such a chore, simply because of how reset it got, and how much the matchmaking is screwed.

That said, Zac is massive right now, Courage of the Colossus is ridiculous, and he procs it in the middle of the team (remember, if you CC someone from outside the fight, you get less champions around you.)

Well if we want to be technical.

4:1 would be the ratio at which point you don't actually gain/lose IP over the entire course of using the shards (so something like 3:1 means you will gain IP.)

To make it slightly easier, the current ORIGINAL count is 43 4800's to 32 6300's.

Meaning unless you bought a crap load of 6300's originally then you should definitely go for the shards.

To counter the "it's clearly working" argument, it isn't. A large majorty of his wins are from toplane.
He doesn't play jungle, he plays support, and starts by putting the enemy jungler behind, then goes bot lane and supports the carry.

The thing is this.

The ring is going even in stacks at 2 kills, Mejai's it's even on 2 kills and an assist.

The issue you have to remember is that even in low elo, if they notice you have a mejai's you are their target.

Fervor doesn't need buffs in my opinion, it just means that it's a different subset of champions that pick it up (those that have AD scaling and use autos.)

Colossus i love personally, as i play a lot of tank junglers, and would love to see it come through unscathed, but i know very well that it is way too strong.

And i think even 5% is a bit much, as that is 25%.

Even worse is the flat scaling, 10+10 per level, meaning a total max of 950 health flat (5 champs, level 18) on a tank that will likely have shit tons of resists.

EDIT: And the biggest issue is that any sort of % health scaling has issues especially since Tank items are not only cheap, but it's so easy to buy a mix of health and Resists, with the only fall off being when does the enemy team build % Penetration.

Myko it's generally a 2 way skill cap.

Jungle is heavy on the Macro play, and is very difficult in this aspect.

ADC is heavy on the Micro play.

It's the most damage that goes through, and technically Iceborn's AoE works with the other sheens, it just doesn't stack with the target you attack (so the AoE damage hits everything but only the triforce would hit the main target).

That's just you.

The last person who reports a player (IE. anyone in the last game they get to play) is the only one that gets informed of any action taken.

And this is only in the case that it's the instant feedback system that actually does it's job (which it will only do if it detects tons of swearing/racist slurs etc.).

As a note regarding the auto-fill shit;

I ran into a problem a month back similar to what a few streamers were running into with the autofill in that multiple people would get auto-filled even though you could easily be reorganized into a better setup.

For example i normally have jungle/mid as my picks, my mate who i was flexing with had support/fill, and the guy who got jungle has top/mid

The game put me in support, my mate in top, and the other random in jungle, even though we could easily be rearranged properly.

I'm curious, how is it worse then armor pen?

I mean back in the days of armor pen it was bad because at most you could get ~40.

Now you can easily get 70+ lethality, and because of duskblade the Lethality actually scales fairly decently into even more damage, and with the scaling, you get 60% of this upfront, so even at around 80% scaling (level 9) you can get way more then you could with armor pen.

Also speaking of, why are they making Giant's Slayer (and by process of upgrading lord Dominik's) better against slightly healthier champions? (they are changing the passive to give full scaling at 500 health higher rather then 1000 health higher)

That change just feels like it will punish mages that try and build Liandry's/Rylai's/RoA/Hextech items, which sadly is most mages.

Not to put a damper on the montage, but a lot of it is in higher levels of play, play becomes more predictable as you can expect more optimal plays from people, and then it comes down to game knowledge and knowing if summoners are up.

It's definitely easier to predict a high level player then a bronze level player.

I really hate this argument.

This argument would hold weight if it weren't for the fact that for nearly a whole season, we were basically told that we could have just 2 roles and it was all g.

There is a difference between being required to be a jack of all trades, and not having to, and that difference is this new system, which honestly makes it easier to do the opposite, except when it throws you into another role.

And i'd rather at least know when i'm getting filled, or when i get my roles which is why i actually go fill in any game where i have the chance to get autofilled, because queueing up to be X/Y role and then getting Z role is just annoying.

Hell i'm unmotivated to even play at the current time in ranked, for the simple fact that my next game is going to be a fill game.

Yeah it's annoying having to change that mindset back and forth, even if i'm playing support all night, i will have to shift between predicting dodges and not predicting them and going straight with my skillshots.

*personal opinion*

Having looked over the design of the new champions, it just makes me slightly annoyed at how they decided to do this, having 2 champions linked in game is a good thing, having that link being champion specific is terrible, it would be like if kalista could only link up with one specific champion in league, it's limiting and stupid in how it's gonna work.

Especially since this is never going to make it to professional play or anything like that, because there is no logistical way that both champions should be up for the team picking second if they want to deny it (which their kits seem overloaded together)

as for non-competitive for people who want to play solo as bot or support, this essentially means relying on a random ADC/Support, to pick the other champion, or being at the luck of the dice as to whether you get one or both of the champs even when your duoing in ranked because of the unorganized nature.

While it's a great design, it's a terrible execution in terms of ever getting any useful play time until they become non-meta in anything other then blind pick.

I'm not saying they are bad champion designs on their own, but the cross champion interactions make them stronger (to the point where i think they might be too strong) and a poor design because of that aspect.

Whether the synergy is fake or not (i would argue the synergy is enough given the ADC W passes on to the support) fact is they have to be balanced either around never being together (which should basically always be the case) or being together (which shouldn't realistically happen)

Meaning they are either overtuned when they are together, or undertuned when they aren't, and neither of those are really acceptable states to be in.

I just think it would be better if they made it so it could be with any champion (picking kalista style), and made it so balance isn't such an issue with these 2.

i have a 4 digit number, but mine is also in AUD so it's a bit different.

EDIT: Not to mention is my guess, it counts when i was using phone credit, which to me was actually FREE phone credit for league

I do have to say, i do agree with the spirit of this, whether it's normals or ranked, i play this game for the competitive aspect, and these new runes and the way the balancing was done does seem like it limits the pool of what can be played.

The main issue i really have, is that they made such a buff to AP champions, because they gave all the champs combinations of Health, Armor, and AD... but not MR.

I don't know about you, but i had a lot of rune pages that had at least some MR in them, now that excess MR is gone.

The new Masteries (they really aren't Runes) are fun when your ahead, but shit when your behind, things like ultimate hat meaning your ult has upwards of 60% CDR is just stupid and means losing, makes you lose even harder then before.

That and a lot of the things they have removed because of imbalance has been put back into the game.

Remember when Riot said Spell Vamp was unhealthy for the game? Riot sure as hell doesn't, because you now have a mastery that can give you upwards of 15% Spell Vamp.

Yeah for players that already have everything it's fine, but there is a lot more issues for those who are stuck with the base 2.

The amount of bugs i encountered being forced to quick make one for an ADC when i didn't do one, i failed the page, and it bugged the hell out on me and took ~2 minutes to make, and i only just got it done (with mistakes)

This is basically dependant on whether you believe you can win your lane consistently with the full in power, or if you believe you need the defensive path as a crutch.

If your worse then your Elo, then running the defensive stuff would make your mistakes less punishing, though realistically only by minor amounts.

Personally my thing is that i take a lot of healing for my mid laners in the Ravenous hunter perk in the Domination tree, 2.5%+2.5% per unique enemy champ of spell damage healing is really strong, and running that on someone like Ahri (my personal favourite right now) stacks with her passive really well to mean your Q will heal a lot.

His W (move speed boost) wouldn't But Aery can be used on any champions auto attacks.

Having just tried in the practice tool, the W doesn't give Teemo Aery shielding.

Tried Ivern as well, Aery doesn't shield him, but it will shield allies.

So i would guess that no self cast ability manages to get Aery to shield you.

EDIT: And as an aside, a thing to note for Aery, is that until you have more AP then AD, Aery does Physical Damage.

In the video that released today about 2017 and plans for 2018, yes.

I managed to somehow lose to anivia the most, and win against Sion the most, which feels really odd.

Honestly, knowing where the enemy is likely to be/general map awareness is so much better then warding skills anyway.

Especially since in my experience, gold players ward's are still pretty damn worthless.

I mean silver (especially low silver) are basically bronze but worse attitudes in a lot of scenarios.

It's just how a lot of it goes in this game, from the fact that you start ranked at ~silver 4-5 for the start of your first provisional's, to the fact that basically every Tier 5's players are generally worse then the tier 1's player of the tier below.

Too many people are just stuck above the rank they should be because you can't demote down from a higher tier without being like the lower tier ~4

They are removing all the rewards for the items, and changing them to "gain a sightstone" well removing sightstone, so be prepared to see support items on laners even more then they already are.

It seems dumb to me.

I get the fringe cases they are doing it for (Panth/Cassio, champs that can harass massively with no major amount of counter play) but in the end this change just seems like it's promoting champs without skillshots that do damage in minion waves (Think Riven) over other champions simply because it's not point and click.

If the change was "if you deal damage to an enemy, then you take agro" that makes more sense, this just feels... awkward and like they are punishing the champions that the change is done to in particular.

So legit question, how hard is it in America/Europe to get a second phone number?

Because in Australia it's relatively easy, and i don't think Riot are getting access to the names behind the numbers.
