I just woke up and I've got alot of stuff to do (day off work) and starting off in a frustration like this is not good for me so I'm going to try and come back and deal with you when I'm in better headspace and less likely to go off on you

part of what you're feeling from me is likely my hesitance to engage simply out of fear of making things toxic

I just had a game (the strahd game) where I'm feeling very similar here to how I did there as far as someone making shit-cases (as I see it) as to "why I'm scum", and I didn't handle it there correctly at all and it was not cool (and the person I was going up against was scum, just as I *knew* it but had no ability to prove correctly because of how much how they were doing pissed me off) -

my main goal is to not let that happen, if I'm hurting things because of that because I'm not answering things or engaging as I should be, I'm sorry, but I do not want to make this game toxic and so I'm trying to navigate it better than I did strahd and for me for now that means not engaging you much because it is just making me angry

now, now that I've established that, I'm willing to allow you to discover that for yourself, and will try and best answer whatever questions you have about this/game that game and how I was there and all that (again, not great to use YOU as a reference point since it's not associated in my head) but the game and myself are great things to use/talk about if you want to try and understand ME more and get a read that way

I was using your scumread on my slot & the way you interacted with me because that was the main thing that I had focused on and could remember clearly enough to say the way you're reacting to FA with your scumread here is really different. Hence why I asked how certain you were in that game that I was scum (or my slot, if you'd prefer) so that I could sort whether I am indeed seeing weird behaviour from the way you're interacting with your scumread or whether it's just a difference in the level of confidence in the read.

I mean it doesn't do me much good to talk with you about how you play the game rather than just do my own evaluating of your play. If I'm wrong then it's something that becomes a null tell for next time (or if I get the right read for the wrong reason this time then I'll learn it's a null tell later when you do the same with a different alignment). It's not like I'm going to judge you solely off one thing you do that pings me as different from another game, anyway.

he and I are in a hood together and I've been generating bits of reads as I can frmo there, but do want more from him so I can grow the read better, he has expressed a few times being busy and not fully "with the game" and I believe it - hence my patience with him and general TR on him based on things there as he's not been utterly silent either by any means

bit more active just recently too which has been very nice
