After some time in Townville, you realize that people have started turning up dead. On much thought, it occurs to you that some people in Townville are trying to kill you. Your job is to get rid of those people.

Rules:

First and foremost, this is a game. Have fun.

2.

Remember, there are 17 other people in this game, and they want to have fun too. A little bit of emotion in post will be tolerated, but excessive flaming or purposefully hurtful posting will result in replacement or mod-kill.

3.

Role PMs are secret. Do not tell anyone your role, or quote your PM in the game thread or anywhere else.

4.

Do not discuss the game outside of the game thread, unless your role PM specifically states that you may, in which case only talk exactly as instructed in your PM.

5.

Votes must be in the following format: Vote: Player_Name. If your vote does not follow that format, (make sure it’s bold) your vote will not count. Unvoting when changing your vote is required for your new vote to count.

6.

When you die (through votes or Nightkill), you are DEAD. You may no longer post until the game has reached completion.

7.

If you have any questions about the game, please ask me via PM.

8.

If you have not warned me beforehand, I will send you a prod if you don’t post for 48 hours. I will give you another 48 hours to respond before I begin looking for a replacement. Excessive lurking (five days or more) will result in replacement or mod-kill, regardless of whether you’ve picked up your prod.

9.

Each day will have a four week deadline. At the end of that deadline, the player with most votes will be lynched. If two players are tied, the player who’d held the votes the longest will be lynched. A minimum of half the normal number of votes is needed for deadline lynch to occur.

10.

The town may decide to No Lynch. A majority of votes is needed.

I, personally, find the first day to be completely useless. It's happened many times: tons of discussion, just to get back where we started, and in the end we all just vote for no lynching.

On the first day, I think it'd be best to not lynch at all. If we just take out a random guess, we could end up hurting ourselves in the process.

I'm not voting for it just yet, to see if any discussion can be born from this; but seriously, stop voting randomly for idiotic reasons.
