Citadels, Power Grid and Bohnanza all get two thumbs up from TBM as long as you have at least four people in your play group.
Citadels and Bohnanza are easy to pick up and play right from the get go but Power Grid is definitely a game where your milage may vary.

I'm looking for a board game that takes 2-6 (4 is the most cruical number to hit) for a group of people who are experienced boardgame players, idly a runtime of about 30-45 mins ideas?

If the the player count was capped at four any other suggestions?
We've already got Dominion + expansions, Power Grid, Blockers, Blockus, the bean game + expansions, Citadels and Pandemic.

BSW has a nice version of Power Grid and it being computerized removes most of the annoyances associated with powergrid (Yes I have played boardgames with people in real life where everyone used laptops!).

My playgroup ground that game to hell, bought an expansion, ground that to hell and back, bought two more expansions and then ground it out even more. The game as a lifespan but what a glorious life it is.

We have played disgusting amounts of keyflower, a much smaller amount of it's first expansion and a tiny amount of its second.
I'm actually pretty confident that Chamber, a friend of ours and myself are north of 60 games of keyflower.

Scribes is actually so good in base keyflower that we ended up nerfing it.

Speaking of interactivity in board gaming does anyone have any suggestions for good highly interactive games. Right now my gold standard for that is 3 player Puerto Rico which really can feel like a knife fight in a phone booth, you can't do anything without touching everyone else and a single mistake generally gets you cut deep.
It's not the most complex or deep game but it easily sits in my top board games list solely because of the sheer interactivity of it.

Kemet is now sitting on my shelf, hopefully I'll get a chance to play a game or two this week.
Cutthroat Caverns sounds pretty perfect for a couple of my friends though, we've had a blast with Welcome to the Dungeon and it sounds like it should hit a lot of the same notes.

i loath co-op games and have been enjoying the difficulty of it
just enough randomness to stop people from planning out forever and enough forewarning to let you theoretically play around everything coming at you

Got my first character to level 4 in about six missions and ended up retiring them already, there's a lot of moving pieces in Gloomhaven but for all its bloat its surprisingly easy to play.
