You mean like a mage that has a good lane pjase vs. other supports?

They play him as someone who walks past the wave and zones with voidlings. Great at early levels, once the enemies start getting ganks and ultis not so much. You need a good combo with his ult e.g. mf for low elos supports to be good in him

I do feel it's a pretty good compromise yea.

That's not to say the points he raises are all invalid, they just don't matter as much if you (like I do) see autofill in 1 out of maybe 10-12 games.

I really hate this argument.

This argument would hold weight if it weren't for the fact that for nearly a whole season, we were basically told that we could have just 2 roles and it was all g.

There is a difference between being required to be a jack of all trades, and not having to, and that difference is this new system, which honestly makes it easier to do the opposite, except when it throws you into another role.

And i'd rather at least know when i'm getting filled, or when i get my roles which is why i actually go fill in any game where i have the chance to get autofilled, because queueing up to be X/Y role and then getting Z role is just annoying.

Hell i'm unmotivated to even play at the current time in ranked, for the simple fact that my next game is going to be a fill game.

I would regularly get 10-15 min queues on old system. Literally quit because of it

Normal blinds is the best game mode.

I actually kind of like autofill. Even getting ranked games where I have to play off roles seems a bit more satisfying. And really it doesn't seem to happen all that often.

Autofill as a support main is glorious; it means when I want to try something else I'm 100% assured it.

playing support, but it's fine and only a little less rare than I'd like it to be.

i queue top/support or ad/support. when i get a guaranteed role i put it in mid for practice.

Not to put a damper on the montage, but a lot of it is in higher levels of play, play becomes more predictable as you can expect more optimal plays from people, and then it comes down to game knowledge and knowing if summoners are up.

It's definitely easier to predict a high level player then a bronze level player.

This is so true it's not even funny, I occasionally play on my smurf account (It's currently like gold 1 with a plat 3 mmr or something) to try out other roles that I don't normally play. It's insane how often I'll expect someone to try dodge a skillshot so I just whiff because they're oblivious to it. There's such a big change that has to be made in mindset

I can tell you with 100% certainty that I don't do it intentionally. It's genuinely muscle memory at this point and it just happens after that type of stuff

mastery flashing after a play is fine. doing it every time you get a kill or if the enemy makes a mistake or whatever is douchey

Yeah it's annoying having to change that mindset back and forth, even if i'm playing support all night, i will have to shift between predicting dodges and not predicting them and going straight with my skillshots.

And then you sometimes have to remember which people know how to dodge and which ones don't (i play a lot of thresh as support)

It's so frustrating haha, I'll regularly go 'Ok remember just aim it at them; they won't dodge' but still instinctively try to predict the juke... Inevitably I then get called boosted :/

at low elo the only consistent juke is ezreal E's. normally i try to aim straight at them to blow their flash, then repeat once it is down. at low elos people don't realize how much having flash up means.
