Because trying to outguess the mod leads to bad plays (see OOTS Mafia and how my role couldn't be town). Balance isn't my forte, I've created one setup thus far.

And if scum doesn't have a strongman, why didn't they shoot lane? He was still a claimed JK at that point, do you think they called his bluff? If Flubber is scum, scum probably wouldn't play around watcher, either.

Eh, we know that Flubber used the doc since there's no other claimed protective. Being able to use two abilities in one night is unusual, but not impossible. At that point, the only reason to scumread Flubber is setup spec, which I despise.

I don't see how those two are related? Setup spec is stuff like "there can't be two town neighbors one has to be scum" AKA trying to outguess the mod. Using PR mechanics to solve the game is completely different, and something I'm very much into.
