Sorry. Here's some stuff as I go through the game and read it again.

Sesq's first post #17 comes off as a little bit nervous about being voted and a bit insecure.

TheJester is probably town for #18, as his questioning mirrored a similar thought I had. (It's been so long since I've played on this website that I don't remember how to link specific posts - sorry.)

Intermission is probably town.

My vote on ECMitchell wasn't completely RVS - I thought his introductory post was worded in a really awkward and pointing-fingers way. In particular, it felt like his post #39 was framed in such a way that set him up to be able to attack a lot of different people without actually committing to any scum-reads. That said though, his play for the rest of the day hasn't actually had scumtelling at all, and I liked his unvote on Intermission. I think I digress on my SR on him.

CooperativeSheep's #76 is bad.

CooperativeSheep's #104 is REALLY bad. Backing down from voting Intermission after he sees that the pressure on Intermission is fading,

Townlean on Siblings Quarrel for picking up on the same thing, but that's a shallow reason, so I'm not confident.

Intermission's vote on Transcend is stupid, but probably town-stupid.

Charloux's questions in #161 seem kind of forced.

Sesq's #171 is still crazy insecure and worried about being voted. Focused on defending himself as opposed to looking for mafia.

Siblings VS Sheep has Sheep looking a lot worse.

In that case, I'm mildly V/LA but I'll contribute as much as I can while having very little access to a computer. Try to be understanding about that, please.

Anyway, I'm on my phone but I'll try to make a longer post tomorrow. Here are my quick thoughts that I'll have to elaborate more on in the future:

-I'm not comfortable with the Transcend wagon in the slightest, and the way that he was brought up to L-1 incredibly quickly has me feeling very shady about it. I'll look more into that wagon itself, but I don't think Transcend is mafia. My TR still stands.

EcMitchell is still most likely town, but I think his points against me are primarily just based on misunderstandings/confusion about how I play the game.

I need to sort out my thoughts and figure out the mafia. I'll make a content post as soon as I can.

Here's a rushed post because I wanna go to bed.

Okay - the wagon on Transcend was really, really bad. In particular, I'm seeing a lot of very flawed logic in the case against Transcend that essentially boils down to: "he isn't playing the game the way that -I- think he should", as opposed to sincerely finding him to be mafia.

A lot of you have correctly noted that Transcend has not explained his reads - but why stop there? Have you considered what might be the mafia motivation for refusing to out reads, or why a stubborn town might not want to explain them? Basically, I'm seeing a lot of projection of "this isn't the way I want Transcend to play the game" that translates into "That makes Transcend mafia".

I don't like Transcend's playstyle. I think it's dumb. But I don't think his playstyle makes him mafia, and his actual tone/reads that he -has- outed makes me inclined to think that he's probably town.

Jester has towntold a lot in the past few pages, as has Bella.

This was a very sudden switch in confidence, and the last line especially seems like fake speculation to me.

Slipping this "working theory" in at the end of Day 1 also seemed a bit off, like projectmatt wanted to ensure we were suspect of plague prior to leading into the next day.

I'm super weary of questions with obvious answers in the thread opener, particularly when they ask about the scum team—numbers, roles, mechanics, etc. If the moderator has already provided the answers, and they are still readily-available, this just reads to me as an attempt to say, "Notice how I don't know how many scum mates there are because I'm not among them."

With regards to the first point - there was no actual switch in confidence, apart from the realization that dragging the day out might not be that beneficial. I had a confident scumread on Sheep, and openly stated my intention that I wanted him lynched. I don't see how you can read that and get the vibe of fake confidence from it?

With regards to the second point - that was exactly how I felt. Plague's quickhammer was scummy and weird, and it seemed like someone vying for towncred. You could feasibly see that as "setting up", but if you read theplague's hammer in context, it seems pretty clear how the quickhammer looked suspect. It was a theory to reconcile my scumread on Sheep with the awfulness of the quickhammer.

With regards to the third point - I sincerely did not know that the setup we were in had been told to us by the moderator. I legitimately had no idea that the information of how many scum we had was something I could quickly and easily verify in the OP.

Other thoughts:

Intermission's play today in particular has been really bad. He's coming off as a lot more nervous and self-conscious than I would expect. I need to ISO him again because I had townread him initially, but a lot of his posts today are rubbing me the wrong way terribly. I'll follow up on that.

I still think that Sesq is almost definitely scum. His play throughout this entire game has been, in my opinion, really absurdly scummy and not based on logic that is sound or consistent.

Basically I'm probably going to vote for Sesq but I want to do some ISO'ing first. I'll be in the computer lab again tomorrow night, so I'll try then.
