What about protection, such as from doctors? Or put another way, is the passive essentially a "strongman" modifier?

Its not a strong-will modifier, no. That means his actions will definitely be casted on their intentional target, regardless of the condition of their target. The effectiveness of action is not guaranteed cause other abilities (like protections) might still interfere.

GM: Once someone is pledged to a person, can linked abilities that trigger during the night as a result still be redirected?

Example: Lloyd was pledged to culted/Davesaz. During the night he visits that person to hand over big Knightmares. Can the visit to hand over knightmares be redirected?

Lloyd/BTD6: Who did you pledge loyalty to? If the gm answers yes to the above question this is IMPORTANT.

If player X can use a certain active ability - only on the person their loyal to - that won't mean that active ability will be definitely used on the person their loyal to (forexample Aristophanes "Assassin" was redirectable by keyXrb's "King's Strategy").

Yes, The abilities won't be blocked by a redirection. Only the person who is under effect of that ability will change. To block an ability one must use a roleblocker variant ability.

Because of them being passive they can't be redirected by normal redirection. keyXrb's "King's Strategy" couldn't do it.

Correcting myself! Suzuku had 2 types of kills. one was a knightmare kill and one was a normal kill. Its obvious that the one using knightmare is a kingmare kill and the other one is not!

Heroic Strike [Active]: Make enough damage to someone and make them enough tired , so they can't make any actions during next cycle (day + night). This will be considered like a normal blocking action.
Zangetsu will self destruct when you die and is not transformable.

Upgrade: Heroic Strike will block your target in the same night your targeting them as well.

My next game is "Inception Mafia" which is in the mini theme queue atm. Its Nightless, with a tricky deadline (starts at 2 weeks but time flow might change). Game requirement for signing up is having 5 completed games in Mini or large themed queues. we will check people case by case though.

The game is extremly complicated and because of it nature - it demands High activity.

The other game is 32 player large game "The real Folk Blues Rematch" or cowboy bebop mafia. knighting abilities were proiorotized to normal actions and were considered as a knightmare actions.

geass contracting and anti geass abilities were considered proiorotized and were resolved in geass section

the only limit of geass / anti geass (hence my veto in keyxrb role) was reviving your geass contract would reveal the disguise and remove their death miller and wouldnt revive the dead

it could disable the vengkill if it was used before anything causing it

there were two abilities which were not getting resolved normally :

- keyxrb wisdom could tell tgem immidiatly what was the effect of their geass
- mafia factional thing was transformable

non of the two were blockable by normal blocking utilities (to stop kills you had dave peace keeper and vecna heal though) the factional kill was not redirectable by stuff like kings strategy

We have only had back to back lynches on scum. Of 6 out of 7 days we lynched scum. The only mislynch we had (on Davesaz) is likely caused by a mod error. I wouldnt have settled on culted in the end If I didnt believe Yume would die alongside him, so that last lynch was effectively lynching scum since if you read all my posts I wanted to prioritize Yume over Culted.

The setup was obviously 100% based on flavour, so confirming people their flavour using my ability is a valid way to deduce alignment. Saying that this is not a valid way to confirm that someone is obvious town, when all obvious scum flavours were scum is nonsensical.

Knowing aristophanes assassination with time geasse would bypass Marianne disguise spescially

The amount of scum protection in game was OK in my pov - though you might argue with that cause setup was too swingy and unpredictable in some parts.
