I personally thought that whole album was hot garbage. I also thought American idiot was garbage. Green day in general has been garbage since warning. I did like blink's new stuff tho.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I find it kind of funny that I grew out of Green Day's music while both their message and my personal worldview became synchronously more political in nature
Wonder if I should ever go back and see what they've been up to these last two decades
What I discovered from good music recently is a group names Clean Bandit. Great combination of quality electronic music, vocalists and beautiful video! check it out.
