best course of action might be to break up rachfire/snarkykuroi.

i like podo's plan a lot.
i think if we go with it, we box jaqen into a corner completely. the only risk is if kuroi/snarky lolpartner jaqen. but if shos is the one who initiates and that initiation happens before i break up with jaqen [should that be an issue], then there really shouldnt be any way for this to not work out as far as i can tell.

it would make this game a lot less about "WHO IS HERE AND WHO SENDS OFFERS FIRST". which is an inherently ridiculous premise in the first place.
people being around for the moderator posting something shouldnt be one of the main factors in whether a partnering does or doesnt happen.

its alright jaqen. your view of the game is skewed because youre scum playing to your wincon and you have different views of what is and isnt effective in terms of implementation of this mechanic. but this mechanic is really frustrating for town.

i think this would have worked better as a blitz/marathon game.
and there were also a lot of small things that really needed to be tied together better mechanically.
the way jaqen was planning to run the clock down and then pair up with snarky/kuroi seemed less like a feature of gameplay and more like a symptom of not considering that possibility during design-time.

without having thought about it a lot, i think being able to instantly accept a partnering request would have solved a few of the issues [and also would have made the cycles pass by a little quicker as there were multiple times when all of us were just kind of sitting there waiting for requests to hit their deadline].

was an interesting idea.
i didnt really have a lot of fun playing it though if im completely honest.
especially since we had pretty much entirely nailed down various members of the scumteam and couldnt do anything about it.
