To be fair, I think like once did something happen in the 48 hour period, but otherwise it felt unnecessary. Most of the time it just made me take longer than 48 hours to implement the title

to be fair I personally secretly vowed to myself that if McMenno had still kept up the schtick for a year after rejecting it, I'd probably give it to him

I talked to psyche about this. It's totally legitimate. And I mean, there's nothing I can do about it, but I can't say I'm not disappointed.

Psyche and me had a spat at the end of SUPP last year about that process and it really left me shaken and sad, so it was a big surprise that I was considering him for Title Fairy when the applications rolled in. He had a lot of good ideas and they were laid out neatly and well-written. It just seemed like he was going to be able to do what I couldn't.

During his reign he has been doing a good job. I mean, I think I can see him running up against the same problems I did, but I figured it was a settling period before the real changes came. Now, to see pretty much everything thrown to the wayside, and the institution of the Title Fairy serving a simply mechanical process -- it's so disheartening. Yet again, another Chevre failure.

I'm so sorry to all those who, like me, supported the titling system as a system for rewards. Sure, I had really dropped the quality of the forum and the process and probably even the titles too, but it was all still there and I knew it just needed someone better to put it into practice. Now, it's all gone.

Uh yeah . . . I wasn't in on this. If anything Psyche should win an acting award for deluding me, but I'm also incredibly naive so it's not that impressive.

All these "pranks" on the site really aren't fun this year IMO. It's just stuff that gets people riled up and I p much just kinda wanna wait it out and see what returns to normal and what doesn't.

Throughout my time just here in the thread and as Title Fairy you sort of see the subject of titles sort of being present in thread and being like "wow I like it! what a great suggestion

" It tends to seem like a very coy "give me this title"

Like when I got Honourable Mention whomever was TF at the time PMed me one day and was like "yo you want this title or nah?" I didn't even know it was happening

Also if your username features the subject of the title your stanning for, you should probably step back. You're not coming at this from an impartial stance

12 btw is an awful title. Legality first: it's rewarding someone for literally just breaking the rules. And yes, maybe it does happen frequently, but then that's not a good title, now, is it?

Second: I've had the grand pleasure of witnessing sheep on the MS discord for a while since his ban, until I banned him for being under 12. From that experience, it is my opinion that we really should not be giving titles to people who really aren't established members of the community, and I mean this in more sense than one. It just becomes like, "oh, let's give Cherve "not another cheesy username" for his title on his new account because lol, he tried to be Chevre that one time."

This is really dumb.

One the legal part is just not a rule that anyone who has a brain will defend, unless your lawful lawful like accountant.

Second part is basically saying newer members can’t get titles because it’s only for people who been here for some who cares timeline. Also your ban of sheep was dumb and was an excuse to get rid of him because he was being annoying

The first part: I do agree with that rules. Age isn't the be-all-end-all but it's in place for a reason.

And as for the second part: sure, if you want to put it that way I did ban sheep in part because he was super annoying and wouldn't shut up about a site he wasn't a member of. But that's exactly what I was hinting at -- I don't feel like giving a title to an immature thirteen-year-old who shares Cupcakke videos at inappropriate times for the lols, and I especially don't feel it should be just because he joined the site one year early.
