btw the loopdan thing, is it just meta based or did he do something in this game in particular or what
meant to ask earlier but how far can you get without looking into player meta?
is it a big thing that is expected of everyone or is it an optional play style sorta thing?
I'm seconding both of Sagittarius's questions. I'm still preferring to lynch Fykus but if there's something important that you guys have on Loopdan I would like to know. Also how important is game/player meta on this site?
I think he was saying that claims are a way to convince people not to lynch you, which is true and not scummy to suggest imo. I was hoping to get enough people onto someone else so that I wouldn't have to bank on people changing their minds.
Tarkus, what I meant was that doing the whole "claim or die" thing is a good way to get mislynches especially on Day 1 when any PRs are going to be very reluctant to claim and we have the least knowledge. Maybe Fykus actually isn't scum, I don't know, but for them to suggest "claim or die" specifically on the first day seems anti-town at the least to me (I would be sort of fine with saying "claim or die" if a player had generally been acting scummy and the game had been going for a few days). And I interpreted that quote as Fykus saying that the lynch or threat of a lynch should be used to force claims out of people.
It should I think. We gotta lynch someone, and claiming is generally the move you make when you're about to get lynched (afaik). The problem's that fykus and I don't agree on who should be forced to claim.
I only suggested to use it on rb to see if he would fake a claim. I asked what a pr is supposed to do when theyre at L-1 if we're not supposed to claim since my wagon was gaining traction. If you havent noticed ive been hinting the entire game that im a pr. Why do you think im so cocksure and taking charge of the game? I wont come out and tell you my role unless im at L1 again since i dont want to confirm scums suspicions of what setup we're in since theyd have a rough idea (if they have a rb or not). But anyway thanks for painting a target on my back tonight.
Heres why we should lynch rb: if he flips scum we know its either lemon or pyra thats his buddy. If he flips town it clears lemon. And town can start to figure out who the scum team is.
With the whole claiming thing didn't you think that someone else would ask you to claim as well? Why claim PR now I mean seriously you had no real pressure on you to claim as I was the only one on you (well besides Sag who isn't here) and I wasn't even trying to pressure you to claim, only to explain yourself. I already said that PRs shouldn't claim Day 1.
