I don't know how anyone would know there were two scum groups (unless they were serial killer, and this being a theme game, you never know). I mentioned it because there was only one night kill. This implies that either a) There is one scum group, or b) some pro-town person interfered with the other one.

Akonas wrote:Mmkay, listen here a minute. If we all just random vote for immunity, then the mafia will sneak in an extra vote or two here or there, and they can get the guy they want elected (more votes than anyone else!)
That being said, it probably doesn't matter until the end of the month, but it's worth keeping in mind. That being said,
Immunity: QuickBen
.
Right about mafia can try to make the person immune that they want immune, but it's not like a normal mafia game where once they hit majority it's automatically given to them. We have until deadline hits to change who we want to give immunity to.
Yes, but it's better to be sitting on nothing than sitting on something when that something can hurt you. Immunity's something we want to be careful about, especially since that makes it harder for scum to get elected. By all means, vote for immunity for someone1
if you're pretty sure you think they're town
.
hasdgfas wrote:Blah, blah not serious OMGUS obviously. But still, one person suspecting you isn't the end of the world. Why are you even reacting to it by suspecting them, even in a not-quite-so-serious way? We've been over the self-immunity thing already, a nulltell, but while I think it's a nulltell, I also think that scum would be more likely to want it because they have more of a priority of staying alive.
WIFOM
. I was testing the rule, and if I get the timestamp for immunity, that's good for me.
hasdgfas wrote:Why do you automatically assume that people are pairing up? There wasn't really much of a connection between you until you mentioned something.
We seemed to be the most active, arguing on one side of the conversation agains hasdgfas and farside22; Holy seemed pretty pro-town. Also,

Okay I did a quick vote count. As I stated I have no issue if people want to see two people up. This was a Qman put it for a political point of view. Some people stated who they would vote for which I took in account. I did not take in to account the ones people were suspicious of. Still waiting a few people to speak up.

Hasdfgas 4 votes (Qman, farside, Arkonas, opie)
Akonas 2 votes (Qman, hasdfgas)
Boggzie 1 vote (farside)
Rigel 1 vote (Shanba)

Not voted:
Quickben
Ibaesha
Rigel
Elias_the_thief
Holy

I noticed something in hasdgfas’ Post 174. He quoted Akonas from Post 23. hasdgfas focused on multiple anti-groups. But what I hadn’t really paid attention to before was where Akonas asked if anyone had any interesting night leads. This seems like a bit of rolefishing.

Bah. My conclusion is that Day One scumhunting is even more impossible in this format then it would be normally (no offense to you, Rishi). Seeing as "votes" as to who are scum have no real-vote implications, voteing records are pretty much useless. I think it would be insulting to make the assumption that any scum here would grant eachother immunity and draw attention to themselves. I think theres not much we can do until we have info tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, the case against Akonas seems kind of silly and exaggerated. But its enough to make him unworthy of immunity. I would say the same thing for Hasdgfas since he's pressing such a silly case. Ibby I cant say much on because she hasnt been able to say much. The only read I have on Holy seems to be that she goes about the game in a very lighthearted manner, which is more indicative of playstyle then alignment, but overall seems town to me. Rigel seems neutral to me. I can see scum or town making the (few) posts that he has. The power role discussion shanba mentions is kinda scummy, but ive seen it from vanilla town newbies before, and Rigel is pretty new (75 game posts). Shanba seems town, from what I've seen. Quickben seems kinda town, though his attacks on Opie seem unwarranted. Opie seems town to me from what Ive seen, as does farside.

I would get to the others, but the biggest problem in this game is that no one seems willing to stand out too much. The immunity vote from me is between (Opie, Farside, Shanba, Holy). Scum is totally up in the air. Looking at (Rigel, hasdgfas) Hopefully lurkers will post something.
I play the games rul gud.

@akonas correction noted, it was more the pairing of
yourself
with someone than who it was with that concerns me. I don't see a link between you and Holy either.

@Elias: As far as Akonas: This more a gut feeling, but again the playstyle can throw me off it has before, that is why I don't like it. He's a pretty good distance behind Hasdfgas for my vote really.
Also Elias, why do you think the case against Hasdfgas is silly? He certainly hasn't acted pro-town.

@Elias
My question is if you think h-cow is silly case why would you think he is scum? Your comments with who you think is scum doesn't really match up.

Done re-read.

My suspicion laid on:

hasdgfas> At confirmation stage, I noted that he asked whether who voted for whom revealed or not (I think this topic interest scum group more than townies for further strategy). And he did OMGUS'ing each other with Akonas.

Akonas> It didn't across my mind at all about how many anti-town
group
presents on this game, there's no clue about that. So he might have an information about that, i.e. he is the other anti-town group he mentioned (just my speculation though). And his question whether anyone got any interesting leads seems like fishing.

Rigel> Concerns about powerroles. Post #43: Mentioning Doc. Post #82: Mentioning Cop. Still could go either way, can't decide if he is too neutral (i.e. didn't do scumhunting much) because he is scum or because he had a connection issue.

After her post, I feel comfortable giving immunity to Holy.

I'll probably vote opie.

About Hasdgfas: I meant that he was pressing a silly case, not that the case on him was silly. I am suspicious of him because he was trying to make someone seem scummy for based on little.

And the case on me isn't silly because isn't based almost solely on the fact that I asked a question whether voting was open or closed?

I'm not exactly familiar with the case on you. The extent to which I find you suspicious only goes as far as saying you are undeserving of immunity, based on pushing thae akonas case. Anyways, I'm gonna go ahead and
immunity: Farside
. Out of the four I listed previously, seemed the most town.

A bit of a late EBWOP, but it should read "isn't silly because
it's
based"

Oh, come on. There's more to it than that; your post is just trying to obscure that fact and discourage thought/consideration of how to vote.

There doesn't appear to me to be anything behind the case other than the fact that I'm voting for you for a "silly case" and that I asked a question about open or closed voting.

Sorry for the double post.
Elias I counted the two people you stated as votes. Since you said you would vote for either one.
Oh since Elias came on I feel he has done a better job then is predessor. I would change my second vote from him to QuickBen who still has yet to offer any really insight.

Hasdfgas 6 votes (Qman, farside, Arkonas, opie, Elias_the_thief, Holy)
Akonas 2 votes (Qman, hasdfgas)
Quickben 1 vote (farside)
Rigel 2 vote (Shanba, Elias_the_thief)

Not voted:
Quickben
Ibaesha
Rigel

Hasdfgas: Do you have anything you want to say before the vote election happens?
