Newbie 1781 - Game over

It felt like you were too smart for the game lol, like you were already experienced. Plus the fact we'd been scumreading destro for some reason the first half of the game. I was going to look at lemon last night but i figured if you turned out scum I could just as easily push the lynch on him with his "dont lynch rb" post.
As for the bp claim thing, I only brought it up because I was a cop and I wanted to see if scum would fakeclaim bp (lol).

Was being smart a bad thing in that situation? I am pretty new to the game but I don't see how that got me scumread though lol. HKD being scumread was just unlucky for me.

@mhsmith: yeah it would have been better scum play to just not claim as scum and move on, but as IC I felt pretty conflicted about not saying something about why I don't like the strategy in a Newbie game and making a point of that. It was objectively a bad play for scum to do what I did, but I think the responsibility of being IC outweighs playing to win at all costs in a Newbie.

I still put the town into a pretty chaotic and confused state, and I think if I just went along with the strat to avoid being scumread I could have engineered this game to make either myself or pyra solo win (i would have roleblocked Fykus and had pyra kill Loopdan or Sagittarius).

But I think Newbies can learn as much from my mistakes, as well as the general reasons I dislike the claim strat, as much as they can from scum winning. I feel bad for pyra if anything

I really liked that you took charge of the BP claim and kept everything organized. Organized thinking is the sign of a good player in the making.

Scumhunting was really on point as well.

Idk it's easier to give you advice when you play badly than when you played well. You basically lynched one scum then copped the other so it's hard for me to help you much here besides than to say good job
