Two reasons.

1) He jumps on schadd's "justification-less" vote, but ignores the two other ones made previously.

There are two reasons he'd want to jump on this vote and ignore the other votes in the thread made previously.
1) This vote is "worse" than other votes.
2) Shadd is of particular interest to him.
3) He reads Tenshii as town.

#1 isn't true, since all the votes are identical. He's given no indication towards #2. #3 isn't true, since in post #44, he mentions having no particular feelings on Tenshii one way or the other.

There's no explanation to this other than Maxous picked a fight for the hell of it and for arbitrary reasons.

2) His attack on AJ is pretty bad.

Both these things show a mentality of wanting to jump on things for the sake of jumping on them, as opposed to sorting out alignments and trying to find mafia.

Maxous seems to care about the game and isn't looking for people to lynch in an overall stagnant game.

The objective of this game is to lynch mafia. How is it townie if he isn't looking for people to lynch?
Like, if you care about the game, you should be trying to find mafia.

Schadd seems to care about his posting from a town perspective. That could be swayed quickly.

In hindsight, the worst reaction possible would've came with a vote. I think we both know that I was active last night and I was waiting to hear more AJ. The following doesn't help his case:

My entire contribution to this game has gone after people who haven't been playing to a town wincon this game, from Hiraki using weak reasoning, to Temphq being noncommittal to you using spam posts early to try and get a foothold in this game.

Weak votes are opportunistic and scummy.

I would have unvoted if he had a normal reaction to it.

Everyone's activity spiked down but I also agree with Lil Uzi's 130 (Activity is NAI).
