Hellion Character Sheet

WIP For Character sheet.

Back Story: Hellion was a raised by two loving parents who had were originally training him to become a Fighter, before a raid on their small village left him homeless and alone at age 14. Parentless, young hellion found refuge in the forest to eventually become one with nature and training under his mentor, Cardon, who would teach him the druid arts. Hellion not being familiar with the arts was unable to comprehend some aspects of the druid life, instead stuck to his way of thinking and staying with much of his impulsive upbringing rather than finding center with nature as his mentor tried to enforce on him. Now grown up, Hellion seeks to prove himself a master of the druid arts and bring peace to the world.

I want to talk about motivations.
Today we talked it over and Aylin is going to be the party leader.
I want Aylin to give us a motivational speech of what our group is set out to do. What is the main objective? What foes do we wish to conquer? Who are we trying to save? What are we seeking?

imagine if instead of studded leather you used regular leather and you equipped growlithe with hide (x2 cost)

Also how do I do skills? Like I updated it with the modifiers I have for my feats, but how many ranks can I put in to start for any skill I want?

The story of our group:

We met in a small town of X, and while we gathered around for a mission to avenge a fallen captain who had died. Believing this mission was too much for one of us to handle, we grouped up. The group then became known as the Order of the Cart, but it would not last. For two of our members tragically fell not long after. The survivors returned to town, and decided they needed to change to adapt and get their much needed revenge. They gathered new members, and they called themselves....Fellowship of the Cart.

All of them have different goals, but they are unified by common sense of camaraderie and seeking fame and fortune. The Fellowship will be much greater than the Order ever was.e

Spoiler: Thoughts on Group Spending

Theres a few ways we can do group spending.
Either we share the cost to the group as a percent of contribution (which I suggest)
Or the person with the most money just pays for the materials we absolutely agree we need.

The other option I thought of was if, when we split money, we create a "Party Fund" and put money into it for shared resources like a cart/torches/food etc.
So if we get 70 gold, we split it six ways for each PC, and then a seventh portion for the party fund.

I mean that's also boring but I don't like the burden being placed on the richest player.

Thats why i suggested we divide up the cost by contribution.
The richer person still pays the most, but the cost is divided more equally.

I get the opinion this group is becoming less RP and too mechanical for my tastes.
I hate us always making decisions on just what is the most optimal.

Ether, we're always in danger. Rose sitting out only makes fights worse without the CC. Rose showed up to the fight and the tables turned.
Postie, Achan running off in the middle of the fight for an unknown reason put all of us in danger because we lost THE biggest melee damage dealer AND our best tank via AC since Sigma was absent.


I understand that you might be concerned about your character, but maybe consider what it would be like if YOU were the one bleeding out on the ground while half the party abandoned you. Because it could have been much worse than Erwin dying. When I left the game early to get on the road, Fiona was bleeding out on the ground, and Hellion and Growlithe were alone against a boss, alone and likely facing a TPK. Which no one wants to be part of.


I am fine having Erwin die in our party of three, trying to save his best friend and the woman he loves because I did everything I could.
I'm ok losing a character if I make a poor decision or take a risk that doesn't pay off. That's 100% on me.
I'm NOT ok with Erwin dying in a party of five where two people chose to be non-combatants and leave everyone else to die.

To go on this, I think it was fine for Postie to do what she was doing, though honestly the more i think about it I REALLY THINK she should have given us a heads up on this that she was planning to develop her character this way so we don't just go "WTF is going on", because it literally happened out of nowhere. I get she was doing her character development but it kind of developed out of thin air, one minute Achan charges into battle recklessly and the next she starts running when things go sour. Never fully explored her character so didn't understand the change, i think making choices in character is generally good but try to be respectful of your party members to not intentionally screw them over without a heads up is also good.

Ether...I was really upset about you abandoning and then joining. Like you wanted us to not do the session so that we wouldn't TPK but you leaving the group meant that a TPK was more likely, I know you thought we were facing ghouls so you wouldn't be useful but i think thats just not true even if we were facing ghouls.

Hey guys, I think this party dynamics would work out better if I switched out Ether with RadiantCowbells.

They said they would be okay with the switch, but I won't make the switch happen unless everyone from both parties give their consent.

The start of a new Act would be the best time for this kind of thing, which is why I would appreciate it if you guys could give me feedback quickly!

I am for this, not because I dislike Ether but I think Ether plays this for different reasons than us.
Like I appreciate all the knowledge of the game she brings to our group and what not but like yeah I don't think she would be happy continuing playing with people like me who don't really care about doing most optimal things?

i think rp sessions for smaller amounts of the group is actually better.
The more people you have the harder it is to have an edge-wise talking and getting characters to know each other.
