Uh, it wasn't any sort of official name, it was like "how the hell do I explain this one round tribe that is dissolved after?" Arkham City had one too, and I think that's what I remembered them being called during Game of Thrones so I just half called it that for my own purposes. They didn't have an actual name. But much like Shipwrecks are called that after Sky Pillar I guess it's stuck for some people?

Speaking of Shipwrecks, there definitely were votes during the one in Sky Pillar, and I don't remember there ever being a distinction in fake merges on whether or not there are votes during it before.

Usually they're just referred to by their tribe names, like the Brode Alliance. That's something I liked in Eon, on a tangent, they made you guys name all your pairs.
If y'all think something is wrong you're free to edit the wiki, just try to think of something to add while you're there! Nothing in the 'lingo' section is supposed to be official, I just wanted a place to put terms we basically made up and make no sense even to people who've watched Survivor before. I suppose it's also the meme section.

A thread will be posted in this forum whenever a game is ready to accept applications. In the application you express your preference for whether you want to be a player or a spectator. The mods choose who to play in the game from the pool of those who express interest in being a player.

The same kind of concept was done in Magical Kingdom, when Jason gave his to Cody to a) extend the timer to try and get more vote onto his side and b) give Cody a chance to progress in the game over him
Blood vs. Water non-anon had its cool moments.

It's only been transferred twice on the show, and one of those times was a mistake.
