So you overlooked him by mistake.
His vote change is confusing to you.
His vote on stealthynoodle by your reasoning deserves him being voted.

Help me vote him then.

This is why I think it is more important to teach everyone to keep their roles secret.
It is information scum does not have. This game is all about information and scum already has more than town. The more they get the more it hurt us.

Not a concern if we lynch scum.

Speaking of which, why are you voting Loop?

If we lynch town, we are put at a bigger disadvantage.
Scum want to lynch pr and their odds increase with claims.
Plus they can build their own strategies around the pr.
So even if we get to the point of a claimed tracker, it doesn't guarantee a positive track even if they watch a scum. But scum will have a 1 in 5 chance to kill doc.

I voted Loopdan to see what whymafia would do.

I'm sorry but I am in the school pit band and we are having a show this weekend so I had a long rehearsal. Normal school ended five hours and a half ago, then I had rehearsal for another three and a half hours. I just finished most of my hw as well so I have a bit of time rn. I love how you're calling me out for lurking yet there are more players who have posted less than me. Are you trying to get an easy bandwagon started on me lol. Anyway, I'll post a reads list

Note - idk what a standard reads list looks like on ms. I'm sorry of it's horrible, I'm a tad overwhelmed rn

Yup. I'm looking for the easy wagon.

If someone normally plays as an SE (not a newbie anymore), it's not hard to see why she would say that. She KNOWS she is not a newbie.

Do the mod a favor and not worry about replacing that spot down the line.
IC will get lynched later anyway.

If you want to scumread Pine for chainsawing you're more than welcome to but you're silly if you're conf!biasing on that so hard to manufacture a townread on an objectively obvscum slot just because it agrees with your misguided ideas about win-con. The mod hasn't intervened. Guess what that means? I'm not breaking any rules. I'm just pushing a philosophy. You don't like teaching and want gear up the game to churn out wins for newbies, go for it. I'd rather focus on teaching and if I have the chance to royally fuck over a newbie like I do right now with Noodle I'm not going to because it won't be fun for him or anyone else. I'm not going to play hard because I care about teaching. This is the newbie queue. Keep the tryhard for the normal queue.

Ok. I agree that trying to break setup in a newbie game is shitty. I don't think it should be the norm.

If you have "the chance" to push someone you should. I think the best way to learn is to be pushed or even screw up. You saying you don't want to sounds scumy to me. Like you know you have something to push but you don't want to because you know it's a lie. Because if that's the case I can understand your thought about it not being fun. Because no one wants to be pushed and told they are something they aren't.

In my first newbie game we ran up someone for lurking and skating by. They were at L-1 for over a day. Never came a defended themselves. We all saw them online multiple times. Finally we said f it. Lynched them. The doctor. Didn't really do anything wrong except didn't post when we wanted them to.

I just feel like I'll be biased bc srceen generally makes me feel frustrated. I fail to see how knowing this helps town but ok

Sounds to me like a personal problem.

It helps Town and it helps you because the whole point is understanding people and interactions. If it's known that I easily frustrate you it gives context to our interactions together.

Granted I don't understand how I can already frustrate you. I believe this is the first time we ever played together and I haven't done to much this game.

@pine
-CogMachine catchup post shouts newTown. TRing TesXX for very incorrect reasons (obsession with setup rather than reads is scummy, not Towny). I'd object to the srceenplay SR, but the guy has less content than I do and he's actually been posting consistently. Pressure is good.

Why didn't you vote me if pressure is good?

But just to address this quickly, after getting some pressure your sudden big reaction seems out of nowhere(310, 314, 316 mainly). Read to me as being driven into a corner, because of how it contrasts to your play the rest of the day(which read as town: calm, responsive etc).

I don't remember if this was ever responded to but it's what bugged me. Bragging about being able to take someone down but not doing it.

Sorry, it wasn't very relevant at all.... I don't really know why Noodle was scumreading me in the first place, and I have even less of an idea why he'd be pushing an empty slot over me now. Suffice it to say that the behavior is pretty strange and I also don't get why he's be defending WM so consistently throughout the game. Anyway, could you answer my questions about your vote please?

Still waiting on those reads you promised, Noodle. Would be great if you could throw them in when you case Pine.

This is why I said you were behaving like caught scum, ftr Noodle. The only way you soft PR like this is if you are scum because if you were actually a PR you would be trying to get the wagon off you so that you didn't have to claim, not sitting back and refusing to engage with people at risk of getting run up to L-1.

I disagree. I've seen newer players soft claim at the first sniff of a wagon on them.

And I don't think it's pro town to announce soft claims to everyone.

As bad as you say the strategy was, it's worse to go against it and have another pr killed.

It's possible she claimed 1-shot BP as scum to bait a doc claim. If that's the case, the doc counterclaiming at this point is actually the best idea. Then we lynch nancy, the doc is nightkilled. Since there is no roleblocker and only one scum would be left, whoever I track tonight will be cleared. So, even if we mislynch D2 and I get killed N2, there will be a tracker clear on D3. I don't want to risk lynching nancy if she's actually a 1-shot BP and the value of keeping a doc hidden at this point isn't much higher than just counterclaiming. If you are town, please don't fake-claim (I don't know why this needs to be said but it's been happening so often in recent games I've played or modded in).

This post makes zero sense. You do not policy lynch confirmed Town. I fakeclaimed VT as a gambit because I had absolute faith in my ability to be obvtown. What I didn't take into account was that Town would be utterly ridiculous and tunnel me.

1)It's not scumy to state a fact. If you think you see a crumb or someone softening a pr, you don't announce it out loud as town.
2)The only way you are confirmed town is if tracker dies tonight.
3)A policy lynch doesn't care what your alignment is. It's lynching anti town players.
4) If you are town bp you killed tracker.

You certainly do if you are PR and the only other PR has claimed. I am confirmed Town by the lack of a CC. Pretty simple.

Drixx, do you now think that Src is also scumslipping?

I understand you are saying you think he soft a doc and you counter claim. Matrix 6 is about the only time you can do that.

Is lynching an uncounterclaimed PR not anti-town? Should we then lynch policy lynch you? Which do you think is more valuable to Town, a conf clear for LyLo or a PR that may or may not provide an inno/guilty at some point before dying? You're completely fine to argue that my play is suboptimal. Suboptimal play =/= scum or PL.

You are taking it literally. I even said policy lynches don't happen. For that very reason, no town wants to lynch town. Calling you a PL is calling you anti town. Not saying I want you dead.

Noodle has since responded in a way that clearly demonstrates he is not doc. If I wanted to point out a doc soft before getting lynched in that way then I would have done it in twilight or been far more subtle about it than I was.

What's your angle here, Src?

My angle is you played bad and now you are trying to justify it. After the fact that you said you are here to teach. You should not be teaching this play.

Isn't it possible that the mafia didn't do a night kill solely to make the tracker result irrelevant?

Scum would not easily buss their partner D1.

Like nANCY said. It's auto win.

Whymafia, Chronicle, Tes

We can go in that order but we will still get another tracker look for a town clear if there is a kill. Nothing scum can do. To many confirmed town.

Twilight 1

All of a sudden, a horrifying screech slashed through the air and twisted the brave adventurers'
faces into painful grimaces. Loopdan was chalking his vote down on the blackboard.

Loopdan: (Eyeing everyone) What? Drixx be scumz.
BlackVoid: Yeah, we heard that, thanks.
nancy: Actually after that, I'm pretty sure he's not the scum.

Her words were promptly accompanied by a change of mood chord, courtesy of the wall speakers.

Drixx: Let's be honest here chaps, if the poor sod I filled in for was actually a scumborg, why would I even bother
with this charade? You think I'm dying to stay here and listen to you squabble and banshee around with the chalk?
Like come on. This is basically proof by induction that I'm town.
Srceenplay: (Lisping through toothbrush) Blah-blah-blah. Can the scum die already? I wanna go to bed.
nancy: No, this Drixx wagon is disgusting and it makes me wanna lynch literally anybody else.
StealthyNoodle You're a bad actress, nancy. I daresay you're probably even Drixx's scumbu--
nancy: Oh come on, you cannot be this obtu--
StealthyNoodle: For all we know, the doctor is still out there, biding his time, waiting for the opportunity to kick
your lying scummy arse down the pit without making himself obvious. Like this is just so apparent to me that I'm
appalled at this town's total inability to loremipsumdolorsitametconcectetur...

nancy's eyes were gleaming with fury as she wrenched the chalk off Loopdan's hands and carved
her name into the board as dramatically as she could in an attempt to drown out StealthyNoodle's
rant.

nancy: FINE, IF YOU ZOMBIES WANT THAT HAMMER ON TOWN SO BADLY, YOU CAN HAVE IT!
Tribunal: Did I just hear the h-word?
nancy: ZOMBIE SHEEP AT THAT!

Drixx had strategically climbed on top of the desk, presumably trying to save himself from the
numerous trap doors that were stationed all over the floor. Unfortunately for him, a tile on the
ceiling directly above him yanked itself open and a robotic arm descended at high speed before
reeling the flailing Drixx up and disappearing into the void.

Tribunal: Can you believe they try this every single game? Silly, right? And now, for the flip...

The lights around the room all went off as the single black LCD screen to the front broadcasted
Drixx's role in big, bold letters that bathed everything in sanguine glow.

Drixx: BlackVoid, Loopdan, StealthyNoodle, Srceenplay, nancy
StealthyNoodle (L-4): Drixx
TesXX (L-4): WhyMafia

Not voting: TesXX, Chronicle

Spoiler:
Drixx the mafia goon (Day 1) has been lynched.

Deadline for Night 1 actions:
April 13, 2017 - 11:30 AM (GMT)
You have (expired on 2017-04-13 11:30:00) to submit or change your night actions.

Looking at VCs this is wrong. Around early game, you were pushing the IC who wasn't around to defend themselves, and then later joined nancy's wagon when that was getting some steam.
If you were on board so early, why were you at the end of the wagon?

Just because I was voting someone doesn't mean I'm pushing them.
This has already been discussed.

The lynch wagon I was going off of memory on my position.
