Why would you EVER say this outloud? I'm not going to give you an answer, but what makes you think it is perfectly acceptable to ask this outloud. If a BP exist, a doc shouldn't be possible.

Ugh, this is why I wish we had kept Loopdan.

I did not see this though.

He was about the only one suspicious of nancy, even after her BP claim. He also mentioned that he wouldn't claim doc even if it was to counterclaim.

By claiming BP nancy easily baited out a doc counterclaim. Most of us agreed that doc should cc if he was existent. If someone HAD claimed doc, scum would have both tracker and doc in their palm. It's a risk not worth taking in a newbie-game and it reads as scum.

Her doing a nokill now, was about the only move that could clear her of suspicion. Taking out anyone but the tracker would instantly reveal her as scum.

Thank you. Feels like you're the only one who read my post.

In post 1807, BlackVoid wrote:If Alisae is fake-claiming doc as VT here, that's pretty suboptimal as well. You are not executing a brilliant plan to wifom scum. You are only adding noise and distractions to the game and making it more difficult to scumhunt. I just can't get behind someone replacing into a newbie game and fake-claiming their role which was why I said I missed Loopdan.

If Alisae was fake-claiming, she just gave away her chance of scum-victory. I also doubt it, considering Loopdan's doc softclaim.

You assume your strat is pushing town towards a win, while all it really does is add a lot of confusion to an already messy newbie-game.

^@nancy There has been no real counterclaim, so I'm not tunneling you anymore. I spent hours trying to wrap my newbie-brain around that messy fake-claim, and if it's autowin, I don't really care anymore.

I'll pretty much go with whatever nancy and BV agrees upon.
Also, my townreads on WhyMafia are stronger than those on Srceenplay.

^@nancy I already suspected Loopdan to be doc. If he had counterclaimed, I'd see no reason not to lynch you;
You're too experienced to play a gambit that gives away both doc and tracker in a newbie-game, and you probably wouldn't take the risk of being counterclaimed as town.

You and Drixx were pretty the only ones scumreading me(you claim to believe I was 98% town yourself).
Thus, I feel confident I've done my best to prove myself as town.
After Drixx's lynch, you keep giving me town credibility because of Pine's anti-bus views.
I'm "annoyed" that you use that as your main argument.

It doesn't seem like you're reading my posts at all. So let me rephrase:
If bjc0303 is lurking, he sees this. If there's more pressure and he's still lurking, there'll probably be a response as well. To explain further: He doesn't have to be online to lurk. I don't get why you keep pushing such an invalid argument.

In post 176, WhyMafia wrote:Why are we debating his alignment when he's not even lurking - he hasn't logged on since the game started. This is wasting time to find scum, unless we're using this to gauge reactions.

And that goes for you as well.

I've included WhyMafia's whole post 176 in this quote. Had to alter it in order to get my point across.

This was his only defense of bjc(the one Cog replaced), and it's pretty much Chron's words, rearranged.

Achieving a perfect town-win, isn't really obtainable in any other game than a newbie one.
It's a great incentive for digging into all the small details.
Assuming autowin is risky and lazy. You can already see that there are several player's who don't believe win is secured.

Let's just disagree.

^What @Blackvoid said. It's an obtainable achievement. And as opposed to certain sports, we don't make a sacrifice by trying to achieve a great result.

pedit: You believe we'll be too burned out to work towards a regular win, if we don't achieve a perfect one? Your arguments just keep getting weaker tbh.

So you were just copying his arguments then? They're pretty much the same.
That single copypasta-post is pretty much your excuse for defending Pine.

In post 1637, BlackVoid wrote:Before I forget, this post has been bothering me for a while and is just an overall weird post:
In post 463, WhyMafia wrote:Regarding Stealthy's post, I was only defending Pine bc lynching someone based on someone who is inactive is ridiculous. I also defended the person Cog replaced (albeit less so bc I was busy when they were trying to lynch him)

What's notable here is when he was accused of defending Pine, he jumps to say that he was defended another slot as well. Feels like he knows Pine is scum and is saying "oh, it isn't just Pine I defended, look I defended this townie as well."

I remember taking note of you actually doing research on Pine's posting.
In post 461, StealthyNoodle wrote:In this post he "corrected" TesXX' response to nancy, by stating that Pine only made 4 posts that were game-related, which means he actually went back to check. Unless he and Pine are scumbuddies, I see it as potential scumhunting.

I still think this holds true. Now that we know that Pine was scum, it could just as well be you finding a good defense for him.
In Pine's case, you went back and found reasonable defense.
In bjc's case, you copied Chronicle's defense, and pretty much made it your own.

You ask why we're discussing his alignment. Chronicle used this word right before you and you haven't used it ever since. The fact that you ask, means you didn't even read through the discussion. But you had the time to copy Chronicle.

In post 176, WhyMafia wrote:he hasn't logged on since the game started.

Why would you mention this again, when Chronicle just mentioned it? (in almost exact wording while we're at it)
Why not just state that you agree with Chronicle?

In post 176, WhyMafia wrote:This is wasting time to find scum, unless we're using this to gauge reactions.

Again, Chronicle's words.

tl;dr
It doesn't look like you're interested in defending bjc.
It looks like you're trying act town by assisting his defense, and do so by posing someone else's research as your own.

Chronicle's Scummy SideWell, here are some of the posts that stick out.
In post 2086, Chronicle wrote:But then again, I'm not amazing at this game either. She is definitely better at reading people than I originally thought, which frustrates me somewhat because I thought I played a decent town game.

Putting your trust and praise in nancy's reads like this seems off. Especially after accusing her reads\gameplay for being bad at several occasions.

In post 327, Chronicle wrote:nancy, pine, whymafia

Preference of lynch in that order

In post 336, Chronicle wrote:I don't think a Pine lynch is the best lynch to do at the moment, though

In post 1081, Chronicle wrote:I see some dislike for Drixx on the Pine slot, but I feel like that's a metaread so I can't really get behind it.

In post 1076, Chronicle wrote:Src/Loop
Drixx/WM/Tess

Lynch preference from top to bottom, left to right are in no particular order.

Seems like you've been placing Pine/Drixx somewhere in the middle. A fine way to avoid lynch and avoid suspicion.

You're pretty much okay with lynching anyone but me and nancy.
You've barely suspected me for being scum at any point in the game. It doesn't look like you're the least suspicious of me. Trust is usually hard when you're town, easier when you're scum.

I don't think Noodle is scum anymore.
Not sure if I really agree on that Noodle read, I like noodle for town.
Noodle and Cog are out of the question.[...]Also nancy/pine, still don't see Noodle being scum
Aye, the fact that they both sit on the Noodle wagon confuses me too. Doesn't make sense that they scumread Noodle,
Noodle is town.
Still waiting on that Noodle scumcase
And that read on Noodle.
but if you would to try, tell me why noodle is scum
That doesn't read at all like caught scum
but he doesn't have to be softing PR if he thinks he's playing obvtown
the few times he has said thanks to people who have commented that they townread him seems to me like he's pretty aware that he's playing just fine.[...]when has noodle had contradictions? i don't recall him calling someone town the whole game, and then suddenly call that person scum(ahem ahem).
i hate this post because of how much it misreps noodle.
in case it hasn't been clear enough[...]i think noodle is town
I still like Noodle for town. Honestly with all the scumreads on him I've tried to reevaluate this read but I can't convince myself he's scum, outside of his reaction to the nancy claim.

You also seem to use every occasion to state your townread of me. It's a fine "told-you-so", should I get lynched. But hey, I appreaciate it.

Well a nokill wouldn't cost him a lot, concidering he was likely going to be targeted by tracker. Meaning he'd nokill regardless of the second power role.

I'd say he's pretty locktown?
His track didn't go anywhere. Him not taking a shot at tracker would mean he probably guessed you were fake claiming BP as doc, and that there was a chance of him being targeted by tracker, thus went with his guts and did a nokill gambit, instead of going for a well chosen kill. It sounds like a highly unlikely scenario.

I rather wish I spent time today doing actual scumreads, than useless reads on a pretty much locked town.

How would his answer say anything about anyone at all?

Questions like why do you think I believe that WhyMafia reads scum, isn't gonna get you anywhere near a read.

You're practically forcing him to go through nancy's collection of weird reads, try to make some kinda sense out of them, and then explain why he thinks that some reads maybe made more sense than others.
Of course, most likely he's just wild guessing, like I would do if I felt obligated to answer some weird question like that.

I've been scumreading Chronicle/Ari for most of the game. But after you tracked him, I find it unlikely that he suspected nancy for being doc, while assuming he'd be the next target for your track at the same time, thus doing a nokill gambit. It just sounds way more likely that scum believed nancy's BP claim and went for your kill.

I'm still pretty dead set on WhyMafia.

I also feel like TesXX could be scum (But you ppl keep saying he's probs town? Care to explain/link?)

I never got any response on this. Not sure if people just ignored it, but here starts my case on Pine.
For a Town IC, I don't like Pine's Wallpost at all. His arguments are simple and pretty pointless, a bunch of them are just rephrasings of other players' posts.

*Edit: Not sure what happened, but THIS is the correct post. Ignore the previous one.

Pretty much brushes away every argument towards nancy as useless. Puts up an effort to make me look more scum with useless arguments. Might be tunneling, but concidering Pine's an IC with 11k+ posts and likely a lot of games behind him, I'd doubt it. Also, his reasoning should be way better than this! An experienced town player would at least take others' opinions and reads into consideration - Pine simply doesn't. He just brushes them away as "obvious" scumreads.

In post 659, StealthyNoodle wrote:

Not sure why this is mentioned by an IC at all. It's a bad argument to avoid getting lynched, and shouldn't be used if one were an experienced town-player.

I'd also like to think that Pine would've had more insight as an IC, than to tunnel me from beginning till end. Not once did he see any of my posts as slightly townish, and avoided mentioning the posts that weren't scummy enough. As town, I'm pretty sure he'd be more open to more views.

Now, can we vote Pine?

I still have 3 or 4 pages left to read, but I gotta say. The fact that some of you or so easily persuaded by nancy's shit-reads saddens me.
Not a single one of you even went back to see her reason for voting me was, and check whether she was right or wrong.
@Alisae You're just appearing more and more scummy from licking nancy's boots. Just like Chronicle did at one point.

I'll respond to your post about me later BlackVoid. For now, thanks for actually acknowledging my wallpost-read(your pretty much the only one who did); I truly appreciate it.
Also, regarding whether I played before: No - This is my first game except for playing in Meat World.

Catching Up - Part 1
In post 2585, BlackVoid wrote:I'm a little weirded out by the soft PR claim in and I don't see why a newbie playing his first game would assume he won't get lynched.

Can you people stop calling this a soft-claim? You're excused for replacing, BlackVoid.
1. nancy was practically the only one scumreading me, besides Pine. Both their reads on me were pretty sad.
2. Several players already had me as town (or townread)
3. As I stated in post 731, narcy loves to think that this game revolves around her, that she's able to control the outcome of the game, arrange a lynch for whoever she likes, and that she's been the only one driving the game forward. I'm gonna enjoy every moment I get to aid her in realizing that her narcissistic lifestyle isn't doing anyone any good.
(which is why I'm excitedly looking forward to her revoking her locked vote on me, because she already knows I won't get lynched this time either. Sidenote: She's likely gonna pretend it was all a play to see whoever sheeped)

In post 2585, BlackVoid wrote:I also forgot to mention: Loopdan continuing to push nancy because he thought StealthyNoodle was a PR is a pretty big towntell.

narcy was acting scummy as heck and everyone thought there would be a counterclaim. Considering LoopDan(and me) was among the more suspicious ones, I suspected him for being doc waiting for D2 to cc.

It's the exact opposite? He's been acting like this several times now. "Lynch me, I don't care". If he was town, he'd likely realize we're not in autowin, and not "give up" that easily.
Thanks for kind words though, WhyMafia.

In post 2597, nancy wrote:Noodle is scum because his reads are fake, his push on Pine looks like a blatant bus and is the only actual scumhunting he's done all game and because Drixx's push on him looks like bussed!scum distancing.

BlackVoid's Post 2599 is the kind of reasoning that's steadily moving us towards the perfect win.

In post 2602, BlackVoid wrote: isn't a towntell because WhyMafia specifically said D1 that he offered himself to be lynched because no mafia would do it. Meaning he is expecting a death-wish to be read as town and for people to go "no way he says that as scum." He didn't say that expecting to be lynched, he said that expecting to be townread.

I didn't see this before now, but yeah I agree, as previously mentioned.

pedit: @WhyMafia I mean, for scum you respond pretty well. As town, I understand that there's little motivation to spend time defending past mistakes(I'll also add that I feel like you respond fairly well/seemingly honest when questioned. Both now and when confronted about the "copying", as well as in other situations).

Pine's quote in 659 can be read in two ways:
1. Could be read as him trying to defend his position as scum, by stating that IC and SE shouldn't be lynched.
2. Could be read as him accusing 3 players for trying to take down IC and SE, because it would technically guarantee scum win. (which is most likely in context tbh)

That's in addition to agreeing with my push on WhyMafia at the beginning of D2.

Alisae is "randomly" going off on you, because she believe's she's right and you're wrong. You could probably explain to her why you think she's wrong, and she'd accept it if she sees your point.

narcy on the other hand, is right about everything, and everyone but her is wrong. She's not interested in discussing, she's not interested in being proven wrong, she's not interested in teaching(yet she obliviously claims so).
She does love to make wild assumptions, sick exaggerations, with little to absolutely no backing. I'd seriously love to make a list for you at some point.
After experiencing this on close hold for a long time now, let it be said that it's annoying and exhausting like I can't tell you.

YOU on the other hand, make stone-cold observations, elaborate on genuinely believable scum-thinking, and you consider people to be innocent as well as guilty. Maybe I give you extra cred because you're conf!town, but my devotion to your research is certainly not just buddying. More like a sigh of relief.

No one supported me when I stepped up against nancy (Well, there was Chronicle, papa bless), and after spending hours wasted(starting around 644, ending at beautiful 744), I had little motivation to ever engage with her again.
If someone else is about to experience that same seemingly effortless situation, I won't stand idly by.

Seeing nancy going all "disgust" over your investigation(like she does to everyone that doesn't approve of her ways) is one of those kinda situations.

Yep, and I had no intention of hiding it. I actually had several versions ready, depending on the outcome (though they were pretty similar). I also had an alarm set, so I could be the first one out.
I was certain Drixx was about to turn town (considering his post-hammer posts), and thought I had a way of proving nancy (2nd in my lynchpool after Drixx) guilty or innocent. The theory wasn't really of that much use though, considering Drixx turned scum and no one ever counterclaimed.

@Alisae Claiming doc soon after replacing was probably my strongest townread towards you. To me, you seemed like experienced town trying to pull of a tricky gambit before having read up on the thread. I figured scum would be more careful with attempting role-swaps like this, and probably read up before the switch, as to avoid traps.

To add on this, I do really believe this "gibberish" looks like an encrypted message. Possibly solved through a combination of simple ciphers. Not sure if it's directed at town or scum though. And maybe I'm ruining the whole point of the message by mentioning this.

@TesXX Regarding that gibberish-post. After desperately trying to decipher it with several simple ciphers, I ended up with a message that started with "In my" and ended with "u must b" + some gibberish.
I was CERTAIN you were trying to convey some sort of message, but didn't want to ruin it for you. This was me, reaching out to you, telling you I had some of it right.
