I'm doing one in Pokemon Red, which I had meant to do ages ago, but now I'm doing it. Will probably go for squirtle.

Edit: Caufht a male lvl 3 Nidoran ('LUCKY') on Route 22!

Caught a lvl 5 Pidgey ('LOVE') on route 2!

Caught a lvl 4 Weedle ('EECUT') in Viridian Forest!

I like to do this:
All four are at level 9:
Name - HP - Attack - Defense - Speed - Special
EECUT - 28 - 10 - 16 - 14 - 11
LUCKY - 30 - 17 - 14 - 15 - 13
EMPKING - 27 - 14 - 18 - 14 - 15
LOVE -28 - 14 - 14 - 18 14

Beat Brock, caught a Zubat ('BATTY') in Mt. Moon, but don't think I'm going to use it.

Caught Spearow ('NAH') on route 4, but won't use it. I deliberately avoided the grass in route 3 because I thought it was just the first half of four, and now there's no turning back.

Edit: And I loss Lucky, Love & Empking to my rival. So Natty, Nah are off the bench. Woo!

Edit: And that was a horrid pace to try to level up and I blacked out.. Woo! I'll probably try again in half an hour.

Stared again. DEATH (Squirtle), then route 2 got level 4 DENTS (Rattata), then DARTS (level 3 Weedle), then DLUCKY (lvl 3 Nidoran, male)

DARTS - 30 -10 - 17 - 12 - 12
DLUCKY- 30 - 18 - 15 - 16 - 14

Just beat Brock, and Dents died aganst a level 11 Rattatta, whoops.

And I caught Dove (lvl 8 Pidgey) on route three.Caught Dudegeo (lvl 8 Geodude) in Mt. Moon.

DARTS - 42 - 26 - 19 - 24 - 19
DLUCKY - 37 - 22 - 18 -21 - 17
DOVE - 34 - 19 - 16 - 20 - 16
DUDEGEO - 33 - 26 - 32 - 12 -14

Caught DIGEST (lvl 8 Ekans) on route 4. Just about to fiht my rival - other than DIGEST on 14/15. And I beat him thout much trouble.
