I decided to post "haha just don't post that in the main thread", but to get up to date on the main thread first.

i probably have to finish writing my backstory first - i'm at the part where raia first becomes radicalized after being arrested for speaking out against the corrupt captain of the city guard
i just got to our hotel so i should have a moment to sit down and write in an hour or two
but yeah i'm down for the fight for orc rights

i no longer strictly go by they/them and honestly prefer she/her but they/them's fine if you're used to it i guess

I'm thinking of taking orcish and incorperating giga into my backstory
They cost 2 skill points. (unless you are a bard, then only 1)

I missed three attacks for around 20 damage total.
I imagine that would have helped, and Erwin's feeling that right about now.

sorry dunn
tbh i probably would have focused on self-buffing so if the sheer power of an enlarged raia with divine favor and shield all at once is enough then cool but tactically i feel like healing would not have been useful
plus theres the issue of me spreading out buffs throughout the day, not sure how many encounters there were
btw i replaced power attack with scribe scroll, i figure it has more utility all game while i cant use power attack until level 2 anyway

there was a bunch of roleplaying, then we said "okay let's go search for that big scary beast that killed the guard captain instead of these nice little rats". then there was one encounter... that one fateful encounter. then we went back to town to lick our wounds (well, I stayed out of melee range so didn't sustain any damage but methaphorically), did some more roleplaying there and ended the session.
Good (?) news, I'll be starting as a paladin for a few levels (and then it gets spicy) after all and my character is mostly done
(It's totally not the character I was doing before)

You guys can sit over there with your Paladin and Cleric stuff and deities and domains.
I'll just be over here with my 44 skill points being super useful.
When I can roll worth a crap.
Someday.
