I think refitting something designed for a humanoid creature for a four legged creature is too difficult, and you would be better off buying one for Houndour instead.

ok so i'm still working on my necromancer backup character and i have a question to ask to see if pursuing this concept for this campaign is worth it
what's the likelihood we get to 6th level spells (~level 11+)? because if i cant create intelligent undead basically the rp value of this character concept goes down the drain \_o_/
i no longer strictly go by they/them and honestly prefer she/her but they/them's fine if you're used to it i guess
also rc tells me that the qualifications for being an assassin (being evil at least) are homebrewed away? just want to confirm he's not jerking my chain

So we had a brief conversation on Skype last night about maybe taking time to RP while FG isn't there. So basically what we did for those few days before the campaign. And its not like we don't want you there, FG, but given we can only progress the story in our limited window we talked about taking time to roleplay outside of our official time to flesh out the characters and get to know the party.
Because the more time we spend talking/arguing/getting to know party members during our official time the less we actually get done re: progressing the story etc. Otherwise we won't really see Hellion or Raia grieve Ayarte's death or Erwin and Fiona have their chat under the tree etc. So maybe just pretending we're sitting at/around the inn for an hour or so.
Spoiler: Re: RP

in past campaigns theres always some hyper CN character that absolutely hates raia's guts and raia hates them back and their petty arguments are always hilarious
Giga wrote:here she's kind of tolerable and likeable
This is your explanation.
If she ran around being insufferable we'd have issues.

This is part of the reason why roleplaying is so important.
This isn't some religious pilgrimage of LG's running around following a code. We all have our lines.
For instance, I'm passively working on a tier of things for what is important to Erwin. So Erwin was willing to hold his sword when the knife was held to Ayarte's throat, but would he be willing to do the same if Hellion or Fiona were in that position? Would he abandon the quest to save the lives of his companions, or abandon them to finish the quest?
I also gave you some great fodder you can use against Erwin. I didn't drop my blade when told to. I killed an injured (likely unable to defend himself) Sevan in the woods without batting an eye.
I liked Achan's outrage over why no one distrusted the dwarf and how badly we handled the situation, but I think people were too shellshocked at the moment to do anything with it.
giga wrote:has anyone actually read my character's backstory btw
Most of it!
giga wrote:also raia doesn't see achan as part of the party btw since he didn't sign the contract.
postie wrote:He doesn't really see himself as part of the party either
This is something that you both can use.
