We agreed on the cart.
We will be taking it out of the groups pooled resources.

I will figure out how much is coming out of everyone for this cart soon enough.
(Never thought accounting work would be used in DnD, but here it is)

Aren't you broke though, Fire?
I know Ayarte's stuff is somewhat pooled but we don't really have a common pot for shared expenses.

I mean Fire and I pooled to buy Houndour some armor.

Pretty much broke.
I will have a system for this though.

Spoiler: Group Finances
Combined Total Currently (Not Including Steve) (Includes Hellion, Achan, Raia, Erwin, Fiona, and Lin)
128 Gold 5 Silver 9 Copper (12859 total)

Spoiler: Deeper Analysis
Since everything is in 10s, I save room by just going by what your total is converted into just one number.

Fiona = 1142 (8.9% to total)
Erwin = 2261 (17.6% to total)
Raia = 3519 (27.4% to total)
Achan = 5856 (45.5% to total)
Hellion = 37 (0.3% to totall)
Lin = 44 (0.3% to total)

Spoiler: Thoughts on Group Spending
Theres a few ways we can do group spending.
Either we share the cost to the group as a percent of contribution (which I suggest)
Or the person with the most money just pays for the materials we absolutely agree we need.

Group needs to buy a wagon and maybe a mule. Houndour isnt a beast of burden and should be out with the party so we might actually NEED a mule with the wagon.

Don't sell your junk just yet though, keep it in the wagon once we get it.

After we get a wagon I want to buy some extra stuff that's personal (flour, powdered milk, and cooking oil, vials to hold that) and NOT for business purposes; i want to have backup food reserves that i keep on raia at all times while i leave some rations in the cart.
i no longer strictly go by they/them and honestly prefer she/her but they/them's fine if you're used to it i guess

Yeaaaaah no.

The other option I thought of was if, when we split money, we create a "Party Fund" and put money into it for shared resources like a cart/torches/food etc.
So if we get 70 gold, we split it six ways for each PC, and then a seventh portion for the party fund.

I mean that's also boring but I don't like the burden being placed on the richest player.

Thats why i suggested we divide up the cost by contribution.
The richer person still pays the most, but the cost is divided more equally.

Spoiler: Group Carrying Capacity
[Hellion, Achan, Lin]: 20/40/60
Erwin: 23/26/70
Raia: 76/153/230

(L/M/H)

Spoiler: Current Weight
Hellion: 32/40 (M)
Achan: 20/20 (L)
Lin: 19/20 (L)
Erwin: 41.3/47 (M)
Raia: 144/153 (M)

Spoiler: Thoughts
This party is a team of lightweights, holy crap.
Lin/Hellion/Achan are all at capacities on their own gear. I'm way overboard for a fight but dropping my BP is a free action in combat so that doesn't trouble me too much.

Cart/wagon likely won't work well in the mines.
Houndour has 66/133/200 capacity if we want to use that.

I believe dropping backpacks would take me and Raia back down to Light, but then they're unprotected etc.

now that we're taking weight seriously

this doesn't feel right - 50 ft. of like fishing line/string shouldn't weigh 10 lbs thats really heavy for something so light

???

i don't know how much it should weigh though

ok so i bought:

2 belt pouches (normal 2 gp price)
1 lb. powdered milk (1 sp - price is from pathfinder)
1 lb flour (2 cp - price also from pathfinder)
and a flask with 1 pint of olive oil (used the price for lamp oil, 1 sp)

so that's 2 gp 2 sp and 2 cp

changes in character sheet are also reflected

it's

not for bread (mostly)

also a pound is about equal to 3.33 cups and most recipies call for like .5-1 cup of flour so uh

I buy another 20 lbs of flour for 4 sp

and 4 days of firewood for 4 cp

We'll load it into the wagon

I'm out of money, how much more powdered milk/olive oil do we need?
