Schoolgirl RPG - Day 1 Session 1: School [Let's go!]

*I sit eating my lunch and look around at everyone. I look at Rina sitting next to me, talking to Riko.*

I wait to see if I get Rina's attention

Pretend that reads "snacks" instead of "lunch" since I wasn't paying attention to the time. Unless anybody wants to make anything out of that...

"Hi! Mitsuki, right?

Mm-hmm

Excited for the first day of school?

I don't know, really. I just hope the teacher's nice and all... (whispers in Rina's ear) And I don't know what I don't like about the principal. He just seems... a bad person...

Instead, I turn to Mitsuki and say "Bad.....don't know. But he surely is boring and for a principal this is equally annoying. What about some revenge for that boring assembly?". I see the look on Mitsuki's face and sigh "Not that kind of revenge. Got it against the rules to eat someone. But we can always spray paint his car or....hey I have a funnier idea"

I look Rina in the eye. "What's that?"

I hear about the upcoming math test. "And seriously? A test on day one? What kind of bastard teacher is this?"

I hope the teacher doesn't hear me call him that

I go through the food. Apples, cookies, Kit-Kats... but I get drawn to the heart-shaped candies.

Offer some of the heart-shaped candies to Rina

Gladly accept the candies from Mitsuki "Oh, thanks a lot. You are very nice". Eat one and ask "What did you think about the class? I barely remember anything about money, needs and desires but I will remember the teacher let us eat during the class". I smile "So, I guess it half-worked"

"It was OK, I guess," I tell Rina. "I'm just... I don't know. I don't really like school. I don't think I can handle the stress. My parents

want me to go to this... supposedly prestigious university in Tokyo, but I don't know what I'd want to study there. Test after test after test... I do

NOT

want to live that life!"

I then look at Rina. There's something good that I see in her, but even if I knew what it was I'd be afraid to tell her. How would the other classmates react if they knew?

"Ahh," I say. "So you're like me, then." I then focus on my test, resisting the temptation to cheat by looking at other people's papers. Not on the first day. I already got away with calling a teacher a bastard, I don't need to toe the line any more.

I peek out and look around, making sure everything's OK. "Why do I have to come to

school, of all places?" I mutter.

Look around for Rina

I look at Kazumi. "Wait, what? Are we suddenly at Hogwarts?" I ask, laughing.

I see Rina. "Oh, hey, Rina," I say happily. Then I start choking on my words a bit. "There's... something I want to talk about at lunch, OK?"

I give Zakura my congratulations and am also curious about her plans with the money. One billion yen, more than I figure I'll ever see in my lifetime. Will she tour the world? Will she buy a mansion? I actually feel more comfortable talking to Zakura than Rina at the moment since I don't feel like I have to talk anything embarrassing.

"I don't know, Rina," I admit. "I'd probably be overwhelmed with the possibilities."
