Alright. We gave 100 people 100 seconds to name as many countries as they could where English is recognized as an official national language. Give the answer you think is the most obscure.
Haschel, you're up first.

How many people said St. Kitts and Nevis?
Spoiler:
24!
Wow, I'm surprised that many people have even heard of the country, but its only official language is English, so it's certainly correct.

I watched this question when it came up on the actual show.
But i don't remember any of those answers, so I'll stick with where i think i know is true.

How many people said New Zealand?
Spoiler:
Incorrect.
English is considered the de facto language of New Zealand,
but it is not officially determined as such by the government.
There have been petitions to make it official, but as of now it is not recognized. Bad luck on that one, although I imagine it'd be a fairly high scoring answer if it were correct,
if that's any consolation.
Drench, there's no maximum score you need to get below to move on, but a low score here combined with an incorrect answer from another team this round could still put you through. What are you thinking?

How many people said Zimbabwe?
Spoiler:
29.
Zimbabwe has 16 official languages, and English is one of the most widely-spoken ones. Unfortunately, this means you are automatically our highest scorers for the round.

Two tiny islands, less than 60,000 people and they still have a devolved parliament and a constitution that allows independence referendums.
edit after wikipedia: it's not a devolved parliament because it came into existence at the same time as the main one and has powers the main one does not have and cannot get. it's like britain though. basically st kitts is ruled by the national assembly and nevis is ruled by the parliament of nevis, which is a lot like a state government. and if 2/3 of nevisians vote to leave they can, which failed in 1998.

My other choice was Liberia.
Saint Kitts really confuses me too - but I also know that rich people go there for vacation too don't they.
Sup, later.
