it's not even necessarily "punishing", that's may be a bad word to use - it's not letting a precedent get set that brings the game down as a whole in future games - scum see a whole bunch of townies let it go and they are more apt to do it in the future and more townies are apt to let it slide unpunished, just brings the game down

T&B, I love this sort of trolling if it is true, it actually allows the wifom to build more for their scum partner (like if you are their scum partner and make that comment) - which is fun to parse and learn who will act like what and is the fun part of the game for me when playing more and more games with the same players, I can really start to tone-read the wifom and I do a good job at it

God don't even get me started on when people say "it doesn't matter what X said at Y place in the thread because it was all WIFOM"

No need for salt. Both teams had their share of playing well and not so well this game. Some players were way too rigid and/or distracted town with tunneling (myself included) and not enough of us managed to get it together before MyLo. It happens.

I still thought Emp's claim was most likely fake because why would you ever pair a 1-shot cop with miller/godfather, but the one thing that made me hesitate was just wondering why Empking would think there wouldn't be a cop that would counterclaim him, and I'm still confused by that.

T&B, I wholly disagree, town should never lie, imo

it's a game of teamwork and building trust, for me, and any sort of deception from your actual teammates gets in the way of that, regardless of what you might think the benefits are in the shortterm, I view it as selfish and destructive to the team

Fakeclaims shouldn't make you lose trust in someone's alignment if there's clear town motivation for what they did. Surely you wouldn't lynch someone who got scum lynched the previous day via a cop guilty because it turned out they had more shots than they claimed? :L
