The save file does not work with my current non-online, non-Flash-based emulator. (Where did you FIND that thing, mallow? lol) I've almost gotten a new file up to Chapter 4 from spare time during class today. Item specifics and exact level ups won't be consistent, but that's the price we pay here, I think. I will post again with the new thread after I've got it done, probably sometime tonight or tomorrow. The main differences will be (1) a
required waiting period of only 6 hours between multi-posts by the same person moving different characters
, and (2) a 12-hour waiting period before I'll start moving characters on my own. That should speed things up a bit, and if I make more than 4 moves in a row without anybody else doing anything, I'll pause the game to gauge interest again.
In addition, I'm not sure how often mallow was doing it, but (3)
I'm only going to be updating character stats in the OP at the end of every chapter
- individual characters can get updated in the OP if they have only just joined the players' army, if they have just received an item, or if they've just leveled up
AND
a player requests their info be updated (by posting "Update Eirika", or something similar). Otherwise, we can all remember for now that Colm has an Antitoxin in his inventory and is now level 5... or whatever. Don't make me re-upload an image file for his 3-page inventory and stat block unless it will be meaningful for you to have new information there. Finally, (4) later on / coming up soon in the game, those of you that have played Sacred Stones before will know that there will be some World Map stuff that will become available. You'll have about 12 hours from when the last Chapter ends, at which point
if you want World Map stuff to happen you must post about it in-thread before I post the start screen of the next Chapter
. I won't do anything extra like "Buy a Steel Sword for Joshua in Serafew" unless you guys want me to - same goes for pre-Chapter Battle preparations ("Do not use Ross in the next Chapter") and other miscellaneous stuff.
The general sentiment seems to be that grinding in this format would be silly, so Chapter 5's Arena will be off-limits and my hours-long Tower of Valni runs will be sorely missed. To wrap things up, I'll have a
