Fair point but I'm not an IC and as such I'm allowed to lie about game theory so I don't honestly see the issue in trying to break the will of scum which is what my entire play was oriented around when that serves my win con. I'd obviously never concede as scum even if it really were autoloss.

You weren't officially an IC but you did take on a mentoring type of role in the game at points and while I can respect "trying to trick scum into making bad moves" I don't think a newbie game is the type of place to do so, it just gives the wrong message but I doubt you'll do it again so it's not a real issue.

You're right I did, in that sense there were also other things I did that were also not good from a mentoring perspective that only served my win con or desire to have fun or interact with people. I probably should've just stuck to the AtE (which was totally fake btw lol) and left out the countdown timer (even though I abandoned that after not that long anyway). Granted, I don't think anyone actually appreciated my mentorship except WhyMafia anyway, so I kind of feel like whatever I did didn't really matter to anyone.

I don't think anyone had to *put up* with you at all, you were fine this game. I enjoyed having you around, you were great and I think you exaggerate your mistakes to yourself by a lot. Be very cautious in fake-claiming when you are town. What nancy did is one of the few

acceptable

badass ways to do it. In a hypothetical world where Alisae was town, swapping each others roles would have been a bad idea and really shouldn't be encouraged.

@Alisae Claiming doc soon after replacing was probably my strongest townread towards you. To me, you seemed like experienced town trying to pull of a tricky gambit before having read up on the thread. I figured scum would be more careful with attempting role-swaps like this, and probably read up before the switch, as to avoid traps.

After seeing how often towns lose by quicklynching, I really wanted to take our time exploring all possibilities.

Without actually reading the game in any great detail (I vaguely skimmed when Pine replaced out with a "if you REALLY need me I guess I can /in but I'd rather not since busy"), one thing I'd say is that this game's posting frequency was kind of out of control for a MS game. I don't know what drove post counts to be THAT high, but I'd guess that a lot of what was posted really didn't need to be. Brevity and sparseness is a hard thing to do sometimes, but in general I think it makes for a bit of a better game (certainly an easier one for people to follow, especially for replacements).

Unlike most games that are long like this, there was very little non-content posting and just a lot of activity on two long Day phases from all slots except when Loopdan/Pine siteflaked. There was a brief spurt of celebratory shitposting at the start of Day 2 but beyond that there was really no point where people were posting for the sake of posting, outside of me shitposting here and there throughout Day 2 to keep the mood light at times where I felt it needed it (still less than 5% of my posts though I'd say). But yea I think I posted more than like 5 other players combined? Oops.
