As a new player coming into my first game I would be intimidated by playing in a setup with a chance to include daytalk.

A few things here. A. They're going to run into it eventually.
B. Short Term okay fine, it can be scary to deal with. Long term however it'll improve scumplay overall for newbies, because they'll read the scum PT and hopefully that might increase the strenght of their scumplay. Newbies might actually get a lot out of the game at the end due to the Daytalk, since you can get into the heads of the scumteam and try to see what they were doing and blah blah blah.
C. In the end though, it really boils down to who is using it and how often they use it.

Yeah Grey, giving scum a doc in Column C would just add more confusion. Tracker is a hard role anyways, and it's fairly easy for scum to play around. scum!Doc over complicates things. Plus, with a scumdoc/doc/track setup, you're basically asking for the docs to 1v1 at some point. The newbie experience would be better with Encryptor/Tracker/Doc.
Also, the scum!Doc is essentially just a goon in Nea/1-shot BP/Doc.

Like, if you just want to fuck with tracker results you might as well give scum a follower or a visitor?

In all seriousness LUV, imagine two little kids. Kid A is playing a video game and knows all about it. Kid B knows nothing of the video game. Kid B asks Kid A if they can play the video game. Kid A says sure, but as Kid B knows nothing of the video game, Kid A feels the need to "correct" how Kid B is playing the game because "they aren't playing the game right." And thus Kid B gets annoyed and frustrated.

My point is, people don't like being told how they are supposed to play the game.

Along these lines, I think we should automatically modkill anyone who votes anyone of their own faction. This will greatly improve games for some unspecified and unclear reason.
