In post 7053, Sir Elton Hercules John wrote:ABR was targeted with a killing action on Night 2. I mistakenly processed the night's actions with him being bulletproof instead of investigation immune. He should have been flipped on the start of Day 3. Obviously that changes the complexion of the game, and there's nothing I can do about that, but I want to make sure that you are all informed about that, as it has been discussed in thread.

In post 19, Pine wrote:I hate that I want to lose. It is completely unfair that Town are the assholes.

Public Service Announcement/Partial Claim
: I am demon Ann Coulter, actual role name is Retluoc'Nna.

I am a Town Self-Inflicted Negative JOAT.

I have a series of five powers, which I must use compulsively and non-consecutively. Specifically, I eat babies. I have to choose a different kind of baby to eat every night, and each kind of baby (Jews, Catholics, Muslim, Atheist, or Asian) gives me a different negative utility. For example, eating a Jew baby makes me
Hated
for the next day.

All but one of these
affects only me
, restricting or punishing me in some way, though a few are less harmful than others . Only one can even possibly affect someone else.
Eating a Muslim baby makes me Ascetic for the night and a Supersaint the next day
. I don't see any restriction preventing me from basically eating the same two types of babies on a loop.

In summary, I have to choose a different restriction every night, none of which really hurt anyone but me. I will be up front every day start about which one I picked.[/b]

I'm not comfortable enough with grey's alignment or his history to have him alive in LYLO

His play screams scum to me, the only defense is "too stupid to be scum" which will always be bull, and frankly he's already shown repeatedly that he feels he can get away with hammering whatever he wants whenever he wants

Does he not have a night action?

I'm thoroughly confused. I've had like 3 bottles of wine so walk me through this like a child

Kise could imprison a player, and then the following night decide if he wanted to kill them

Math was in Kise's dungeon but got lynched, and so Kise's dungeon was empty at the time of his death anyway (or someone very shortly was placed in it and immediately released the same. Ohhh I don't know how actions resolve)

Polite Mafia had forced random post restrictions, no deadlines, and occurred at a time when a site crash took the site down for three weeks

Almost every single slot was replaced at some point

Cephrir's miller claim made no sense whatsoever but sadly no one believed me.

But it's p shitty that in a role madness game I get literally a useless role that can in-fact kill me because of PGOs, trying to force a game to be role-madness by filling it with some useless roles for town is just not a good look. Especially when the scumteam is stacked.

I have WORDS to say about the game as well as how some people played it but I will probably save it till later when I'm more likely to talk from a logical POV rather than emotional.

I will say though that I will never enter a game with hiplop in it again. Both his play here and DEFCON was atrocious and basically refusing to play the game.

I agree the miller claim made no sense and if I hadn't been scum I'd have been right next to you running it up

You have to look at the kills that were made instead of the Kuribo shot, though:

Spiffeh (Paragon), Desperado (confirmed town), Kise (power role), etc

Brian and Kise were both killing roles, there was no way any scum would have killed a used-up vig over two active killing roles

I'd have wrecked Gin on this point

I mean if you think anyone including you would have correctly lynched someone that shot a partner without that partner switching into BP-mode over lurkers and people that refused to play the game, then lol.

Kuribo could have been caught much earlier though. I did catch him when he had that weird push on Hocho Knife but then he just started yelling and tbh I'm not in the mood to go full apeshit toxic so I just dropped it then he hardcore AtE'd about how DGB was his friend and he has went through tough shit etc and I bought that.

But his Hocho Knife push was really bad. Other than that though no one could've pushed him through. There was like only a couple of people through out the course of the game that even suspected him: Hocho (who was just omgusing so doesn't really count), Kise, me, idk I can't think more off the top of my head. But his lynch would not have gone through in a million years with how this town played.

Part of the reason I rarely get lynched is because it's exhausting to try and do so

I honestly don't think we'd have succeeded with any other scum team.

The plan from day 1 pretty much was to have me and Ceph carry the end game. The rest of the team did a masterful job supporting that. From ABR suggesting we vig a teammate, to Titus and Ali sowing discord by splitting towns reads on them for days, to vax just completely baffling them with bullshit to the point they were still worried about a redirection after his flip, to Ceph's manipulative towniness, it all just kinda came together. We all said what we had to say, killed who we had to kill, and set up associative tells with the people we needed to. In the end, we even helped foster a sense of helplessness and apathy that would leave some town players feeling isolated to where the only people they could rely on were the scum team.

We did great you guys, and we won.

I also bet on the fact that DGB could give out more vigs so it would have huge ROI.

and she legit thought she was one-shot, which explains why I didn't get another on N2--- she must have gone back and realized how her role worked and then said "welp, time to send more guns to kuribo" the following nights

Because Katsuki's actually trying to blame his lynch on me, despite me not being alive when it happened, because "he can do no wrong".

And like, seriously? I was wrong about Katsuki, yes. So was everyone else that fucking voted for him and actually participated in his lynch.

Great, he was right about kuribo. Mafia isn't just about having accurate reads, it's also about getting everyone else to see and vote that way too. Katsuki did jack shit all game, gave reads after Days of not contributing, and cries when he gets lynched because of his doing jack shit.

So sorry, I don't have much sympathy.
I mean, as I've said earlier, I'm hard to lynch regardless of alignment because lynching me is an emotionally taxing chore. There's a reason that only two scum ever got me mislynched, for example. And I do consider myself a slightly better than average scum player. Like honestly there was pretty much exactly one time when I was concerned I might be the lynch, and that was when I was arguing with Brian--- and part of that was my own confusion about how many guns I had. And even then, I had pacified Brian by nightfall, knowing that he was null-reading me at best and I could just kill him that night.

Like, Gin, for perspective: Katsuki has known me for over a decade, both off-site and on. We've been scum together more than I've been scum with anyone else. He didn't even come close.

Brian caught me hoarding guns, which had been sent to me repeatedly by someone I consider my closest friend on the site, and who can herself usually read me very well, and Brian couldn't get me lynched either.

On top of that, day 1? Not only have I never been mislynched outside of LYLO, I haven't been lynched Day 1 as scum in almost nine years.

And besides all THAT, I'd immediately point the town to your post in this thread where you talk about wanting to lynch me day 1, rightfully note that it occurred before the game ever started and thus is obviously not influenced by my alignment in the game, and within thirty pages you'd be the only vote on me while I wagon you into dirt
