Avatars and Influence

I think avatars are important to how you influence people's perceptions of what you are saying. I also realize I like to match a person's tone if I want them to work with them. For example, if a person is talking to me and is all bubbly, I'll act bubbly with them and try to establish some rapport. This is just in general, I heard people like it when someone types in the same tone as you. So I do that. (Although that may be because of my Enneagram type 9, but still) Talk about avatars here and ways you feel you think can help influence a group of people, especially mafia players. Anything goes as long as it's related to avatars or influence. For example, if you want people's opinions on your avatar, or you want to talk about a person's avatar, this seems like the perfect place for it.

Call outs: I don't like Red Coyote's avatar right now. He had a much better one before. I like that Papa Zito went back to the Undertale avatar.

I think avatars only work in a single direction. I think if you have a "scummy" avatar, whatever that may be defined as, you are more likely to seem scummy. I do not think neutral or "townie" avatars will get you town points.

I remember a newbie scum player who was using the girl from Wreck-it-ralph. It made him look like some troll and it made him seem annoying af. Also I pressured him in pre-game and he whined and that made shit worse for him.
