why is any of this even being discussedIn post 244, Almost50 wrote:Guys. I apologize for the mess my crumb directed at Nero caused you all. I'm a "physician" (that's what it says my role PM) and I had intended to heal Nero because I had decided he was my strongest Town read at the time. OK? I claim Doctor.. (well, it's a partial claim actually, bc there's more in the description of my role that I would prefer not to out this early).
So. I'm NOT Nero's "lover". I was just trying to tell him that I was going to protect him, and that if I get lynched he will not get such protection, and when he acted so dense and hostile I even told scum to shoot him because I'm not "protecting" him tonight, and it ALSO went off the top of his head. I guess I should have PM'd him my PM. That or he is scum and pretending to be this dense. *Shrug*

For the record: I haven't been very talkative because pain. I think it was Sunday I was eating some chicken fingers from Steak and Shake (mad good shakes yo!) and I was merrily enjoying my chicken fingers with buffalo sauce when I chomped down on a bit of a chicken finger that was only breading. Breading that had been friend enough to become nearly as hard as a diamond. That piece of breading and my front top tooth had an epic battle, until my tooth got bruised and cried uncle. Sadly, the tooth has been crying uncle (to a slowly lessening degree) for the past several days, and time just sort of became this weird eternal timeless thing as I couldn't sleep properly.
It was so bad I went to the dentist today. What a little shop of horrors.
Anyway. I'm back from that horrible nightmare. We making any progress here?

desperado's push on drixx was absolutely horrific
you kinda feel like your reads and pushes are because you want to be doing something rather than genuine sentiment.
bins focus on mechanics felt like they wanted to draw discussion towards NAI claims that wouldnt help town
my vote didn't have anything to do with his activity. his two posts at that time were scummy and his reaction was scummy. what am I missing hereIn post 297, Nero Cain wrote:for my part Desp has done shit all and I could see a scum him throw out a vote on an inactive Drixx slot.
not quite how it happenedIn post 309, Drixx wrote:Dunnstral is misrepping hard. Desperado and I were both called out for being inactive. Desperado immediately responded by coming after me. It was and is scummy. Then he made a SECOND attempt when the first didn't work, and it was pointed out that he was being quite scummy. I agreed (twice was a bit overmuch) and voted.
Now I'm the scummy one?
Feel free to rope me. Then you will have two scum. Desperado and Dunnstral who jumped in to rescue him when it looked like momentum was building up.
ya that was pretty shit from tywin, could've been buddying me I guess. In post 316, Drixx wrote:Doesn'tIn post 313, Tywin Lannister wrote:Nvm I was quoting a player list and didnt pay attention.
Desperado is town. He always does this. Lots of nothing.
Zach is probably town.
Oldwin/conn nullalwaysdoing nothing make it really easy to emulate your town game as scum? Not a convincing reason to town read Desperado... like ... at all. There are some reasons to read him as !town though.
does this shit normally work for you???In post 321, Randomnamechange wrote:dunn's attempt to start a counterwagon was really poor. bins is probs town if they are though bc i dont see scum team piling on drixx that quickly. In post 319, SlingshotWaffles wrote:Why do you think they're paired? In post 318, Randomnamechange wrote:desperado and dunn probably paired. happy to vote either of them today.

nah he's town
this just word saladIn post 531, Drixx wrote:Just stop Desperado. Literally theonlything you've done this game is get called out for doing nothing and pushed me. The thing is ... I'm NOT going to get lynched (barring scum getting a quick lynch in while I sleep, in which case my flip will get them killed), and I'm not scum.
Notice how people being pushed and even wagoned are all suddenly saying I'm scum without anything backing it up? What they hope people don't notice is that literally every one of them have been scum read. It is amusing to watch them all try and shift to me though.
as far as i can tell your scumreads are me, dunnstral, and neroIn post 533, Drixx wrote:I already gave SRs. I wasn't even the first person to point out how scummy you are, and then suddenly I get counterwagoned out of nowhere?
In post 586, Tywin Lannister wrote:Also, drixx is obvious town compared to desperado, so why is Zach voting drixx? I think both are prob town, but if I had to choose between them, desp would be the scum. Pretty obvious actually. Idk how Zach sees differently? Desp clearly is, at best, anti-town.
what does either of our activity levels have to do with anything and why are you just parroting drixx' bullshit right now?In post 787, Persivul wrote:Desp barely participated, then came in and put a scum read on another person who had barely participated, and pushed it the whole fucking game...and you find that townie? In post 786, Zachstralkita wrote:But he pushes Drixx the whole fucking game? Drixx has been exceedingly scummy, surface level reads and.... rhhh whatever
how many times does this style of scumhunting have to be wrong before you fucking change it up??In post 791, Tywin Lannister wrote:When only a couple people get any votes, and the other option is NL on D1, that should tell you all you need to know. Try to gamesolve for once. Nero is a better lynch than NL, but not to scum. Only scum want him sticking around.
So do what you want, but post game, please learn. The reasons wagons form and the resistance to others is common stuff in Mafia. Please learn. I'm tired of losing games because town won't lynch scum at any point, because they don't know how to read wagons.
six townies voted drixx d1 but we couldn't lynch him because all a 4 man team has to do in a mini is not buss and they're basically guaranteed to winIn post 2054, Nero Cain wrote:Towns real failing is not getting Drixx lynched d1.
no your total power level was 30% of the available votes to lynch on day one (plus a setup that heavily depended on PGOs not claiming being run on a website that expects PGOs to claim)In post 2072, Drixx wrote:Desperado ... if I had stayed V/LA and not come in and posted at all, do you think I would still have survived day one, or was it me showing up and taking advantage of you getting called out (along with me) for lurking and you immediately pushing me as being scummy? Obviously I knew you weren't scum but if you don't immediately show up after being called out and see that I was also called out and thus try and push me, I never have any ammo to push you. It was that and coming back the next day that allowed me to maneuver out of day one. Like just re-read the reactions people had when you came around the next day and tried to push me a 2nd time. That's where I got out of the rope.
I saw in the dead thread that you're a little burned out. I know that feeling. I could link you to some epic time investments I've made in mafia that resulted in gutting losses. I suspect we would have quite a lot in common on that front. I hope there's no hard feelings.
Ultimately, it's not as easy as "too many scum" because we were all goons with two 1-shot abilities shared. Our total power level was a single attempt to strongman (which with the layered protection in town could have done bupkis) and a single ninja.
okIn post 2081, drealmerz7 wrote:IMO a good town should recognize when a wagon is not going to lynch because it is a scum wagon and no one is busing and those who want the lynch should pressure those who don't want it as to why they don't want it and try to convince them it is a good wagon and threaten "you're scum who won't bus" sorts of things
