Guys. I apologize for the mess my crumb directed at Nero caused you all. I'm a "physician" (that's what it says my role PM) and I had intended to heal Nero because I had decided he was my strongest Town read at the time. OK? I claim Doctor.. (well, it's a partial claim actually, bc there's more in the description of my role that I would prefer not to out this early).

So. I'm NOT Nero's "lover". I was just trying to tell him that I was going to protect him, and that if I get lynched he will not get such protection, and when he acted so dense and hostile I even told scum to shoot him because I'm not "protecting" him tonight, and it ALSO went off the top of his head. I guess I should have PM'd him my PM. That or he is scum and pretending to be this dense. *Shrug*

For the record: I haven't been very talkative because pain. I think it was Sunday I was eating some chicken fingers from Steak and Shake (mad good shakes yo!) and I was merrily enjoying my chicken fingers with buffalo sauce when I chomped down on a bit of a chicken finger that was only breading. Breading that had been friend enough to become nearly as hard as a diamond. That piece of breading and my front top tooth had an epic battle, until my tooth got bruised and cried uncle. Sadly, the tooth has been crying uncle (to a slowly lessening degree) for the past several days, and time just sort of became this weird eternal timeless thing as I couldn't sleep properly.

It was so bad I went to the dentist today. What a little shop of horrors.

Anyway. I'm back from that horrible nightmare. We making any progress here?

Dunnstral is misrepping hard. Desperado and I were both called out for being inactive. Desperado immediately responded by coming after me. It was and is scummy. Then he made a SECOND attempt when the first didn't work, and it was pointed out that he was being quite scummy. I agreed (twice was a bit overmuch) and voted.

Notice how people being pushed and even wagoned are all suddenly saying I'm scum without anything backing it up? What they hope people don't notice is that literally every one of them have been scum read. It is amusing to watch them all try and shift to me though.

When only a couple people get any votes, and the other option is NL on D1, that should tell you all you need to know. Try to gamesolve for once. Nero is a better lynch than NL, but not to scum. Only scum want him sticking around.

So do what you want, but post game, please learn. The reasons wagons form and the resistance to others is common stuff in Mafia. Please learn. I'm tired of losing games because town won't lynch scum at any point, because they don't know how to read wagons.

Desperado ... if I had stayed V/LA and not come in and posted at all, do you think I would still have survived day one, or was it me showing up and taking advantage of you getting called out (along with me) for lurking and you immediately pushing me as being scummy? Obviously I knew you weren't scum but if you don't immediately show up after being called out and see that I was also called out and thus try and push me, I never have any ammo to push you. It was that and coming back the next day that allowed me to maneuver out of day one. Like just re-read the reactions people had when you came around the next day and tried to push me a 2nd time. That's where I got out of the rope.

I saw in the dead thread that you're a little burned out. I know that feeling. I could link you to some epic time investments I've made in mafia that resulted in gutting losses. I suspect we would have quite a lot in common on that front. I hope there's no hard feelings.

Ultimately, it's not as easy as "too many scum" because we were all goons with two 1-shot abilities shared. Our total power level was a single attempt to strongman (which with the layered protection in town could have done bupkis) and a single ninja.

no your total power level was 30% of the available votes to lynch on day one (plus a setup that heavily depended on PGOs not claiming being run on a website that expects PGOs to claim)

pretty sure 11-2 mountainous is scumsided...9v4 is an exercise in futility. it really does not matter one bit what extra power either side has, the town is never going to overcome that disadvantage unless the scum let it happen (via bussing)

of course there are no hard feelings. i don't really know why day one happened the way it did...my push on you had nothing to do with either of our activity levels and i said as much in real time. if that's how people interpreted it i suppose it's on me for not being super clear with why i thought you were scum but you just...were.

at the time i didn't regret getting lynched because it was pretty obvious that scum spent a lot of energy getting me dead and i thought that would give nero and zach and dunn some clarity. obviously that didn't happen but blaming it on nero is misguided imo

IMO a good town should recognize when a wagon is not going to lynch because it is a scum wagon and no one is busing and those who want the lynch should pressure those who don't want it as to why they don't want it and try to convince them it is a good wagon and threaten "you're scum who won't bus" sorts of things
