First, I think night vigs are safer to deal with that and can give mechanical clears. Plus, if I'm wrong, nothing lost that way. Second, killing the dead doesn't do anything.

They can entrap scum into a claim that is provably wrong. Or of course you can pass investigative results to another player so they can out the information in the case of your death. Multiple reasons to want to neighbourize with town and keep the chat to PT.

If there's a normal alignment Cop they sure can (well, almost.. since there's still the miller thing that could be a GF type of role id Scum aligned). There are other mechanics and other tactics, so I think the possibility is realistically existent.

results are recieved at the same time as PTs break for night actions so this doesn't work.

Also I submitted the judge, the neighborize and shut up about each other, and the early lynch mechanics.

Nobody needs to out what they submitted, simply because the mod made then quite clear as he listed then in the players list order. That said, I think everybody now knows it's unlikely anyone got one of their own suggested roles. *Sigh* (I REALLY wanted to be a Forensic Investigator)

But seriously; I was a VT in DoY. It didn't matter much to me if those who didn't know me scum read me, and I was OK getting lynched on D1. There are no VTs in this game, so it follows I am NOT a VT. I'll get to sorting your slot by other means though. Just you wait for it.
