This is what I'm most certain of. Insta-calling Boon vs Tywin TvT, the clearly fake justification for the townread on Tywin, trying to get the chain lynch on Flubber (in exchange for Gamma lynching a player that Gamma had townread the entire time), trying to discredit Boon's reads because he was wrong about one Day 1 read, etc etc. Nothing about Gamma's play indicates outrageous stupidity. He is scum. Town, if you want to win this game, we have to lynch scum today, and this is the clearest scum.

The combination of ScumCool + TownFlub is very unlikely since Cool didn't hammer. Since Flubber is almost certainly town, Cool is likely town too.

You actually raise a good point. There's not much point in lynching Mel here because it just looks really opportunistic and desperate. Even if she flips scum, it just looks like I'm bussing her is desperation and scum will continue to push Flubber and myself the following Day. Gamma or Michael flipping scum are really the only results that confirm me and Flubber as town, and that is 100% necessary to win this game which is already one mislynch away from MYLO. It's fucking ridiculous that this is the case because Flubber + myself are Boon's strongest townreads and the scumblock has somehow convinced a bunch of you that we're both scum, but here we are.

You know what, you're right. My argument for Mel/Flubber scumteam being very unlikely is unsound. I was thinking that ScumMel would never stick her neck out like that just to get a little towncred for a ScumFlubber lynch, but it's not impossible. It could conceivably be ScumMel fishing for some towncred for bussing Flubber. The fact of the matter is is that Mel obviously didn't expect to get nearly as much heat as I'm giving her right now or she wouldn't have made that post at all, regardless of alignment. It's just a really, really, really scummy post. So I shouldn't be giving ScumMel credit for playing sensibly here, because it's not much more sensible than TownMel making that post.

That said, that post is more likely to come from scum who are getting excited about the prospect of another mislynch than it is from a townie, who would be quite concerned about the state of the game if we have another mislynch here.
