But a good difference to look at is how much they're actually contributing.
If they say they are and act, but a majority of it is fluff and null, then that's a red flag.
But if they're actually gathering useful information for Town, it's probably town-motivated scum hunting. :/

I can agree that scum hunting is not primarily alightment-indicative. Though, would you lynch someone who is actively Scum hunting? Why or why Not? What other ways could you effectivly look for scum- red flags, Process of elimination?
Tsk Tsk Tsk, Klazam, you played this game longer than I have and yet you made that mistake? What a noob xD
Ok so, TB and Empiricus was scum, and they been scumhunting. D2, I figured out the scum team but I decided not to go with my gut. Result? Perfect scum win. So yeah, I still won't "scum hunting." Usually in the start of the games, people like to goof off a little but I find that Mulch is taking things so serious here at the start. This is my second game. All the other people, all of your games, do you remember how it usually starts off? I mean does Scum typically get all serious at the beginning of the game? You're right that it doesn't benefit Town to keep secrets BUT what I have in mind isn't beneficial at the moment. It'll only benefit Scums if I say this. So I will wait until if/when the behavior rises, I will point it out. Then you will see what I am talking about. But I do wonder why you want to know. It leaves your teammates in the dark of what you're thinking. Scum could actually be found if they avoid it obviously, as scum would be very concerned on how they look to other players. And, other players could look out for it with you.

Empiricus, you know who I'm talking about xD
Ah. TBH, I don't think anyone would've beaten the wall I have experienced. About the same length as the Great Wall of China.
First off, I know Klazam IRL. I'm just joking about him lurking. In post 139, Carcalilly wrote:I'm aware that I'm tunneling but you're the only one with enough posts to make something solid out of so...
This is about you,Sergtaco~ Also threw in a little bit of advice in there because why not
Topic: Klazam Suspicion
23- RVS vote
40- Saying that they're lurking??? (IMO: He's mentioned it many times with Klazam, yet, he hasn't mentioned anyone else who's lurking.)
60- Possible explanation as to why he's getting at them. ("Fight me"?)
124- A vote and scum read without evidence. (Low-key red flag )
IMO: Could this be a scum bussing attempt? Are you trying to get at Klazam? Why be persistent on it, especially with that vote in their absence? They haveone RVS post.
Topic: Scumhunting
53- Initial show of strong opinions on scumhunting
63- He doesn't "believe in scumhunting" (IMO: It's a reasonable belief. However... keep reading)
IMO: You can consider scumhunting as NAI, but please don't emphasize being against it, as it can be discouraging. We want people to scumhunt, town or scum, because it STILL reveals information. Also, maybe focus on theresults. This post is a highlight of my results, talking and questioning you was the hunting, for example.
Topic: Lightheartedness
!Now, I don't have anything against lightheartedness, but I just wanted to take this into account.!
IMO: Your posts have been very lighthearted, and I honestly enjoy talking to you because of that. However, I'm not going to ignore possible alt motives.
-I know that posting lightness can help emotionally when you are feeling heavy or guilty. Do you anything to feel guilty about, Taco?
-Provides distraction, keeps the game from moving forward.
-Appeal to emotion. Act friendly and get on people's good side.
Topic: Self Defense
A quick thing, but when I question him, he tends to turn it back against me.
84- A vote after a clash of opinions.
127- I'm suspicious of someone, and I'm "just saying that to look town"? Don't turn to that, that's a very easy and typical defense.Defend. Yourself.
VOTE: Sergtacos
For now.
Anyway... someone else please come it. I don't like tunnel battles.
No. You not my dad. My dad ain't no scum.In post 143, Klazam wrote:Also taco, don't accuse someone of lurking on the frigging first day. Thank you.
Klazam, you noob. xDIn post 147, ThinkBig wrote:In post 141, Klazam wrote:I'm wiped, big meeting at work that's ongoing, don't expect a real post from me til Wednesday, most likely.
mod- I been playing since long before vote tags was a thing, can I use bold tags, please? Because that habit's hard to break for me.
UNVOTE:
Fixed unvote tagsI use the automatic vote counter in my games. By using the bolded tags, you run the risk of the vote counter not catching your vote or voting for the wrong person.
Vote: Unvote also does not work with the automatic vote counter. Use the unvote tags to unvote.
Who stop? What, where do you see this? I only see vote counts and why isn't my vote on Klazam?
Because I sense that Klazam is scum. I will vote Carcalilly next day.In post 157, Tchill13 wrote:VOTE: carcalillyIn post 127, Sergtacos wrote:How do I know if you're not saying this to look like you're town? Not sure why taco and twoface imply carcalilly seems scummy then doesn't vote them. That's seems odd to me.
In post 159, Tchill13 wrote:Imply you have actually reason that carcalilly might be scum. Point out you're read on klazam has no real evidence just a "sense" from you... That doesn't look too good in my opinion. You're basically saying if carcalilly is scum that's fine but he's not getting attention until day 2.
