After two rounds of botched landings me and Alisae just came 8th, died due to some flankers. Highlight of the match was me mistakenly knocking out Alisae as I didnt see the name tag in a panicked frenzy.

If you have settings like texture and foliage on very low you may want to up them to low, a lot of people have found the lowest settings actually stutter more than the second lowest.

My biggest weakness is spotting movement at a distance. I know it's something I need to work on, but I'm not really sure HOW to improve it.
Raise your AA and Post Processing to medium/low if lower than that and depending on the frame hit, that sharpens the image at longer range. What uses more FPS but reaaaalllly helps is raising your screen scale.

View distance renders plants and buildings mostly, not people. I'd have AA on medium/low and PP on medium/low. Also raise screen scale as much as possible without it hitting your fps too much. I've yet to see what effects does.
