I haven't bothered really reading, but if you were in a hood with Titus, ask yourself how much of what happened is reasonably due to hood manipulation, and if a good chunk of it is, I'd say just take it as a learning experience not to let yourself get "hoodwinked"

PS I don't think it's productive to give me thoughts on CommKnight, beyond the fact that I'm explicitly not counting this game in my personal record, something that's pretty rare of me to do.

CommKnight's biggest thing imo is he doesn't realize scum tell you who they are if you let them talk. It's why even guilties get slow rolled.

drealmerz, what you're describing is a slayer's gambit. You have a reputation of still being a VI though. I know you're not going to like it from me, but I know you'd be relatively easy to guilty here because of your lack of skill and posting attitude. When it shifted to you v random, I was completely off the table. You had been telling others how much they suck, which is not an effective method of persuasion. Even here, you lost in a sweep. You need to look at why you were not persuasive. You believed I was scum, but you effectively post I'm scum in every game. It made you easy to dismiss here. Why could I get away with just shutting down the conversation in lylo? There's plenty for you to review and reflect on, and your sole answer here again is that you've still "got it", but really you didn't.

Believe me or not. I do care. Even if it's selfish because I don't want you to drive good players away. Mafia is a cooperative game. You win and lose as a team. Your team lost. Until you continue to analyze why you lost, people will continue to use this game as a clinic to beat you when you suspect them drealmerz. I'll try one more time. Why was town in your words "extremely stupid"? What could you have done differently to help town be "smarter"?

The only points I found town were extremely stupid (minus the dayvig), I can still track back to you. For instance, town was completely careless as to lylo. Nearly everyone had Navy as town, which meant one town vote loses. Town yet recklessly threw down three votes in lylo. Just because your vote happened to be correct didn't make it any less careless.

You also were very pointlessly semantic. Rather than figure out why I was asking you about Navy's alignment, you responded with a semantic comment about "knowing". If someone asks you who is scum or the alignment of someone, they want your opinion. If you had figured that out, you would have been able to derail a vote on you by highlighting it was in fact lylo.

Yes, semantics are important. You can acknowledge the semantic processing

. Then, you'd find out that your semantic interpretation did not match the common usage of the question, the game goes forward, and you have more credibility to make me answer your questions.

drealmerz, I'm not turning this into a referendum on you and me. You have totally tunnelled me in every towngame too. It's easy to always vote someone as scum if you always vote them period.

Why didn't your "expose" on my semantics work? That's partially because I'm very semantic as well, and the argument resembled more of the same. You need to be aware of your audience. I was astutely aware of my audience the entire time. CommKnight wanted to feel right and be in control. Human Sequencer was looking for the town figure heads to get along. Clumsy just wanted to be able to talk and time to scumhunt. Yet, you missed all of these signal posts because you merely called town stupid. This made it 100% harder for any case to be heard, as I could basically point to you elevating yourself above the town as a reason not to listen. Several things you posted were just factually wrong, as you do in every game. If you're dealing with someone hard to lynch, you line up your shot. You listen to people and work with them. The more likeable you are, the easier it is to get your lynch through.

You should also realize that every player brings a different skillset to the table. Tonal players read the game entirely different than logic players. Then there's whatever you do. I'd call it ego posting, but that's mean and not my point. You need to make players feel valued. No one is perfectly rational. It's where the disagreements occur that you can tell how to reach players.

This type of behavior is your choice, but highly immature, inappropriate, and likely ineffective. I've also been here for years, and I do this to learn about the human psyche to be better at my work. So driving me away will be immensely difficult. I'll just sit and smile and wait while avoiding you. Your continued attitude is still angering people who are popular and respected on this site (and I'm not including myself for sake of argument). There have been no less than 4 players who want you to get better and have tried.

I hope eventually in six months to a year your temper will cool off and what we've said to you will remain. If not, I still plan to be here and helping players who wish to improve be better (well unless having kids makes it impossible).
