After two rounds of botched landings me and Alisae just came 8th, died due to some flankers. Highlight of the match was me mistakenly knocking out Alisae as I didnt see the name tag in a panicked frenzy.

If you have settings like texture and foliage on very low you may want to up them to low, a lot of people have found the lowest settings actually stutter more than the second lowest.
The stutter hasn't been TOO bad. I mean, it's not great and it's not like I can compete for the win with it, really. But I could still have a lot of fun being sneaky. The worst problem is simply crashing out of the game.

Yeah. We have a decently sized airport just a couple miles north. They just finished reworking the roads a few years ago and that has fixed most of the traffic in that area.

My computer is also not very far above the minimum requirements. I manage to play with 30-50 frames a second even so by running the game in windowed mode, with the lowest possible settings on everything except draw distance (which is medium). I also have to exit and restart the game every 2-4 games.

Is there a guide for this or for AMD optimization in general?

So far, what has worked for me is to drop anywhere from low to medium risk locations. Anything where immediate confrontation is unlikely. I go for tunnels and groupings of 3-6 houses, and sometimes the smaller cities and usually do decently.
I also avoid the cities, apartments, base, etc. when playing solo. Small clusters of houses that aren't directly on the flight path will usually afford you some time to get fear and then you can manage the game from there
That said I've been on a terrible cold streak the last couple of days.
all right. got to stop trying to play until the new PC is set up. The only way I don't crash during the game is if I die quickly. I kept trying to figure out ways to fix my crashing problem, but nothing's managed to work. Ah well. On the plus side, if this has MMR I should start off way easier!
Played three games and had two top ten finished. Which is significantly better than my average finish of crashed at 80/90. Still doesn't feel totally natural with the controls. Think I need to play with that to heal, loot and prone more fluidly.
