hello hello i am psyche you know me you probably even like me
let me sell you on an idea: spend your september 1-5(???) in princeton with me!
we'll use airbnb to get you a roomy place, and spend our time engaging in tightly scheduled excursions specially chosen to make you feel joy and other positive emotions such as peace, connection (the opposite of loneliness) and satisfaction
now, i am but a humble man who's never done anything like this before so it will be a mini meet not a real meet unless you think Micro Games count as Mafia this does not mean we will have reduced enjoyment compared to larger meets (unless your enjoyment depends on largeness which i think is unfortunate for you hypothetically) but rather that there should be fewer of us (providing better opportunity for intimacy and coordinated, even otherwise costly, happenings) and fewer days (disrupting your work schedules less allowing you to save resources necessary for coordinating disruption like vacation days for more important activities like spending holidays with the ones you love)
i think this is a great idea though maybe my best no not my best i have had some pretty decent ideas id say

activities may include
:
- tourism walk the halls chesskid and ellibereth once walked or you know look at more interesting stuff pton is the site of a very fancy university and also many war monuments and other things that are nice to look at
- food tourism eat local college town food
- canoeing we have a river and also a lake
- fishing ok ive never done this before in pton but maybe people are into it
- board games and mafia i guess
- video games i guess
- princeton as an upscale university town has an observatory we could go on a friday or a thursday to look at stars isnt that cool???
- Escape the Room it could be fun the google reviews are positive
- biking down trails yes i can get us all bikes in fact as a boring person this is my hobby
- walking down different trails this is ok too and nice
- getting wet in the wholesome sense
- drinking there is in fact alcohol in new jersey
- just talking and organized activities designed to facilitate just talking we all know
- visits to nearby nyc or philadelphia and thus group enjoyment of all those places' affordances very doable due to adjacent new jersey transit train system this in fact means WE CAN DO ANYTHING
- if we can find the money/coupons we can even go to the six flags amusement park together WOW

i hope this encourages you to believe there are reasons to choose to be in prton new jersey we'll work out the details as the pool of participants develops and we explore further the opportunities for recreation in this location

key details
:
- ive never hosted or even been to a meet before so i kind of want to keep this small i mean like the number of people i'm looking to entertain is a range from 2 to 5 that way everything is manageable and we can just hang out get to know each other yeah
- similarly i dont know if i want to make it last very long if you want it to last very long im ok to negotiate but i was thinking we could do this from friday afternoon through tuesday morning on labor day weekend tell me what you think
- cost depends on what we decide to do i am indeed an expert at keeping things simple and cheap believe me i am not exaggerating; from this foundation i'm sure we can manage a lot of more luxurious experiences on small budgets matched to the ideally small scale of this meet
- i will be a really cool and neat host full of jokes ready to provide attention and time at the slightest drop of the hat i am in fact certified in listening no joke very serious
- i have no car we will rely on public transit and bikes (i can get us a fleet!) and uber (or lyft if you're like really socially aware or whatever) but we can rent a car if you prefer that i guess or maybe you own a car that is impressive

things to discuss
:
- who will come? anyone? anyone??
- what will we do how much will we spend
- when will we do this
- why though maybe it's better for me or also for you to never have contact with anyone again ever

special addendum
:
if you're just a sole person disinterested in meets but interested in me we can always plan a micromeet just me and you perhaps not even in princeton perhaps in a very romantic restaurant i'm very avant garde like that also i might own a gun you don't know if i do remember that okay

- like i could rent us a house with a few bedrooms less than a mile away from campus for around $100 per night maybe less maybe more we could split this cost between us and that would be cheap by some standards
- fleet of bikes would cost $20 per person they can basically get us anywhere if you're up for the exercise and if you're not there are many other options i promise you
- college town restaurants cost like $10 per meal we can go cheaper of course by grocery shopping or chain restauranting or more expensive if you're some kind of sir or are looking for some kind of capstone experience or a mix considering that there will be multiple meals in theory
- train to nyc is about $16 there (and it's $16 back!); i dont know the price to get to philadelphia but it's similar and why would you go to philadelphia if you can go to nyc
- i have a boyfriend
- bodies of water are plentiful free to access
- trails too, and many walking areas
- have you ever wanted to play a nintendo switch
- this is the Escape the Room website for Princeton: https://amazingescaperoom.com/princeton-nj/ i think the regular price is $30 a person but coupons are plentiful
- im very zany be sure to curb me if that gets out of control
- i intend to spend more money as the host; don't assume that it has to be this proportional thing or even that you necessarily have to spend as much as other participants if you can't but do not scam me plz or be "uncool" i will resent you
- cheetory6 is interested did you know he's the most well-liked person on this forum right now it's true he is
- here in princeton we shower or bathe daily even the nerds
- do you want to bring a pet i will bring a pet by which i mean i will own a pet say something if there will be more pets than my pet or also if i should keep my pet away from you
- oh right the canoieing well thats more interesting but it's cheaper than the bike fleet it really is unless we spend like every hour possible on it; don't worry its very safe and also enjoyable
- oh hey we have a really fancy movie theater too i forgot to mention that like instead of the usual movie theater chairs we each get actual recliners and there are only like 50 seats in each room and yet the prices are typical for a movie theater can you believe it
- uhh...

I would feel like a weird Psyche stalker if I were the only one there, but too many people and you wouldn't have room for me anymore. However, this sounds interesting!
but i have so many guaranteed maybes!
