basically most of town and scum's powers are vanilla (mountainous) but we can expect some sort of twist (probably the person we're supposed to protect)

The setup said clear enough that there was a "buff" to counteract scum's rolecop, but the implication should be obvious already that we don't have PRs. Hence there's no one to stop a night kill on the special townie, so him claiming would be our loss. Dunn's claim looked like a gambit to me. A town gambit, so Vedith didn't provide us information. He just told us what scum already knows.
